I’m a 47 year old trucker. Been driving 18 years. Get this audiobook. Total Money Makeover by Dave Ramsey. Changed my life. If you understand the stuff he says at your age, OMG!!
He’s right! Financial literacy is what it’s all about! I didn’t learn about how money works until I was like 28 or 29. It doesn’t matter if you make $40k or $100k, if you don’t invest/save, have a budget, and live pretty basic, you can spend all your money easy! I have a class a CDL and I was making like $1200/wk, which was alot for me. But I was going out and splurging a lot, restaurant dinners, hobbies, etc… I was putting money away and built up $20k + savings, but I should’ve had more to show for it with the amount of hours i was working. You learn the most when you fail.. that being said, when I start my new trucking job, I’m going into it with a whole new perspective about $$$. Discipline, knowledge and consistency is 🔑. Good luck everyone
That’s crazy. I recently started getting financial coaching by them. They assigned me a personal financial coach for free. I’m going through the baby steps process right now.
I came home from jail bro 19 til I was 24. I got into trucking soon as I came home. I was doing regional making 1850 a week doing exactly the same as you. I had more money than everybody around me I was taking care of family, partying, casinos, strip clubs, everything you can think of. I’m 27 now I had got focused last year stacked up 60k now. They took my route and my pay went down to only 1,000 a week but it’s still enough to pay my bill but I only work 4 days a week. It’s good you making the videos for us young people cus the money can inflate your brain and make you think it’s gone last forever. Keep trucking gang. Chicagoooo

Give yourself a couple of years and you won't be.
Starting out at 45K a year.
IF you're SINGLE......
NO WIFE
NO KIDS
NO WRITEOFFS
NO DEDUCTIONS
YOU MIGHT get lucky and take home half......
From that.......even IF
you have a fridge,microwave,toaster
and coffe pot.......YOU still GONNA spend 100 bucks a week.THAT'S 5200.00 a year
Considering when you're asleep, you're still on duty.
The hours divided by pay.
GOOD LUCK
Did yu invest fam??
Just got my cdl bro , what Russian companies you recommend to run it up like that ? & do they hair follicle ?
Me personally I wouldn’t recommend a Russian company first starting out. most of them required at least one year of experience before hiring
Bruh focus on your credit, and focus on your savings for emergencies and retirement
pay yourself first into some type of investment account and watch you're money grow, eating out at truck stop is expensive ....
Save & invest money
