Mac, Sol and Ghosty... Please understand that these Thursday interviews are bigger than the views-right now. Time will tell. These episodes will basically be history/reference for future kids, film makers, authors.... etc.

I beg you, gentlemen, to leave Thursday episodes alone. For some of us, Thursday episodes were the reason we discovered the podcast. Tuesdays are your chance to go live if you'd like. Continue recording the stories of the guests, without chasing for views.
Couldn't have phrased it better. I know that numbers are part of the game but the heritage of such stories should precede the numbers. There is much more we have learnt in these stories than the other media forms. For instance who knew before this episode that Angus and Co don't own Yizo. Lets Mize views for a moment and let the stories be told, this is the only place where we are guaranteed such stories. Please do not take them away from us champions.🎉
I'm fascinated at how this man knows each and every actor and actress by their original names and pronounce them very well. This tells you that he really knows these people not just working with them
The Monday episodes get the most views because they mostly deal with current affairs, and the Chillers are interested in hearing your perspective on those current affairs. The Thursday episodes are special in that they document a persons/celebrity life through their own words unfiltered. They are slow-burners that in the long run will eventually overtake their corresponding Monday episode in views. Don't do away with celebrity interviews, just take it as a long-term investment. We need guys like ANGUS GIBSON who people aren't necessarily familiar with, but have done so much to document Black South African history to tell their story. And nobody with a Podcast can conduct an interview like MacG!
My words exactly 🎉❤. Imagine after some years later we come band remind ourselves we had people like these in our country, as you mentioned is long term investment, monday episodes will trend now but there's no history in it... SOL AND MACG must think twice about this celebrity interviews 😊
These Thursday episodes are a gem. I hope the team read the comments and realise what they are documenting, HISTORY! The same way one can only rent/buy Archive Footage from the SABC for documentary pursposes, they can do the same in the future. Just a thought
This is so true because I didn't initially watch this episode cause I didn't know who Angus Gibson is but I'm currently watching Shaka Ilembe and thought to come back here. I must say that i am enjoying it more cause I have a little bit of "context" about him now❤😂
I enjoyed this interview. Not your typical celebrity interview. No scandals to address. He's not trying to trend or promote a show. It was a genuine interview about his work. I'm certain for some kid who's in the film industry and Angus is his idol, this interview feels like candy to him. Again great episode. Loved it!
"This is one of the best, when guests are not chasing fame they tend to be simple and genuine, not these fake personalities like bo Magashule. Good work" just said this before i read your comment.
I agree, he is a pure artist that's never stopped working. While presenting the best productions South Africa will ever see, the man is a true national icon. 🙏🏾🇿🇦
Dudu and the team really said "let me show these Chillers what a Thursday interview is". As a 2k it was really dope hearing Mr Gibson's stories. Thank you. ❤❤
You on the channel for wrong reasons bro. Controversy isn't sustainable. Podcasts and chill have done their part in causing controversy. Hence they have produced all the other podcasts. When I started watching the podcast I was in my early 20s now I'm in my late 20s. Not to be selfish but I would say most of the viewers are the same as me we have outgrown the controversy stage
Angus Gibson will go down as the best to ever do it, most of his productions gave us actors and celebrities we know today the likes of Zola 7, GP MaOrange come from there. May he get his flowers while he’s still alive, he changed many lives.
As someone who is interested in photography and motion pictures, i Cannot wait for this interview 🤗🤗🥺🇿🇦🤝 He has produced some of the greatest films 🥺🤝😊😊
MacG I’m afraid you were absolutely wrong about this interview. Such a stellar job, such an incredible story. Forget the numbers and focus on the stories. You are building a South African archive that will live beyond your years❤
This episode was and is the pure exact answer why the family meeting meant we should keep such gems ... not all about the numbers .... We appreciate this Bra!!!!
I watched Shaka with my American husband and he absolutely loved it! It definitely should be released for the global audience I think it would do amazingly well.
As an upcoming South African Film Director myself, Angus has always been one of my biggest inspirations. Thank you so much for giving him a platform to show his personal side, he is such a wholesome person. Danko!.
There is nothing wrong with these interviews. Interviews are interviews, they won't have the same vibe as you chilling with Sol. I believe that "chillers" understand that.🙂
There’s no way MacG can kill this segment. This is a beautiful story and wish more of us were invested in our history like this man. I legit want someone to write a story about amaHlubi. This for me is my favorite interview. No podcast can ever top this Mac.
I understand the numbers are not doing the things but these Thursday Interviews are more knowledgeable and informative so plz dont stop them and we are busy documenting our south african history ..Our kids and grand kids gonna come to this channel and get to know our celebrities and get inspired
I enjoyed how this interview went , I love the fact that he knows everyone he works with, he even mentioned age. this guy knows Soweto like the back of his hand.......the knowledge he has is crazy and I assumed and thought this would be boring but OOOH BOY WAS I WRONG
This episode will gain traction with time & ultimately get there. I absolutely love Angus & I appreciate how MacG is allowing the man to narrate without disturbing!!!!
The numbers are the numbers bru, the difference in having people like Angus Gibson is that this interview will be more important in the long run than whichever popular personality that gets 1m views in a week right now... This is a classic...keep these coming...
I don’t think naive is the word in this instance …perhaps a phrasing like “ not to be inflexible/inconsiderate /difficult but I’m happier when I see both Sol Phenduka and MacG sitting together” would convey your message better…
ANGUS IS A GENIUS , I'm loving this podcast it's 1am but I'm watching and I've got work in the morning but this episode is so amazing man. A lot of lesson one can learn from this. Thank u Mc G for inviting the gentleman

This is one of the best, when guests are not chasing fame they tend to be simple and genuine, not these fake personalities like bo Magashule. Good work
This was one of the best episodes ever. If you're a filmmaker or are generally interested in how Television works, one needs to watch this. I didn't like the question Mac asked on Monday about the Thursday episodes, as much as everything now is being commercialized and it's a numbers game, Thursday episodes are a hub of knowledge and experience from great people like Angus Gibson and we learn alot . Podcast and Chill takes us away from thinking about our problems, I've always loved how mostly Thursday episodes would make learning fun.
This episode is cerebral and academic in the film industry sense. It won’t trend because there is no scandals. That’s SouthA for you. Keep going Podcast and Chill. Well done.
MacG and Sol you guys are talented. The way this interview was conducted deserved the respect, the listening and the good follow up questions. Well done Gents! Keep up the good job🎉
Mr Gibson made stars out of his production. We hardly celebrate such people, who made (past and present) a huge impact in our lives through television.
