In this episode of Skul the Hero Slayer, we'll be playing Officer with a Raw Damage% focus, but using Omens for scaling! Officer is a character who on release was extremely bad. He was slow, especially at legendary with his Heroic Unrivaled Strikes, and was extremely prone to taking unnecessary damage due to those. However, with 1.9 he was changed to have i-frames during his Heroic Unrivaled Strikes, and it's been smooth sailing for him ever since. He is now, without a doubt, a solid character. His main build arounds, in my opinion, are normally Raw Damage% runs, and he's also a solid Ability Spam Items user as well. That said, today's focus will be on the former, with a pinch of Omens as spice! Raw Damage% runs, when build correctly, are very potent. It's a simple concept, stack your damage be it physical or magical as high as possible. However, you need to make sure you have the right items and inscriptions as well as Dark Abilities and Curses to maximize your value. Today's run is a low roll door count run, which makes things more complicated. Now I have to overcome RNG, and make sure my item quality doesn't suffer while also juggling my bone shards to make sure I can properly scale my skulls. It's a rough balancing act, but I've been here before and I'll be here again! So, that's today's build, Officer and Damage%! Joined by Shield, can these two overcome all the odds stacked against them and gain yet another victory over the relentless end game?

01:22 from what i remember he always had the amp per shield thing(at unique so atleast from the moment that awekening was implemented) in fact they nerfed him, around the time that the dark mirror was released they reduced the cap of his amp from 50% to 30%.
Oh, shit I never knew. Why didn't people like playing with Shield then? Seems like most people's opinions have 180'd.

Oh, yeah my bad classic flub gaming lol. That used to be a thing back in the day, good old Clone-Clone. The most broken thing the game ever saw, remove in the Dark Mirror patch because it'd have been too busted with Collection Desire.

So i maybe have a run idea can you do a run where you get the lowest damage
I've done a run with ×0.6 with shield skul
I don't do challenge runs anymore, I don't got that dog in me and they definitely underperform on the channel. I've done common only before though, not against Alexander or anything like that, but I did it against the Dark Hero back when he was the final boss.
You explained what a low door count run is, but how do you determine it so soon? Are the doors for area 1 the same amount for area 2 and so on?
Based on how many rooms I go into before the first shop. If it's 3 then generally the amount of doors you go into stays low across the entire run, and if it's 4 then it stays high.
