Interesting videos, yet a lot to unpack from historical sources. Can you provide links and sources to the events such as the massacre, and the Awalim and performers mentioned in such escape? Good video to discuss, as based on my own research, there was already existing Awalim along with remaining Jawari culture
Dear Arman Youssef Raqs, I'm glad you like the video. Regarding to the historical sources, most of them are in Arabic language and I believe that you speak and read Arabic too. So, you can find the sources in my research in this link below: www.folkculturebh.org/ar/index.php?issue=&page=article&id=544
congratulations, an amazing video with important information about the awalim real role and importance t in egyptian society. Where them that brought to us the baladi familiar style of dance? I am always interested in egyptian culture and history.
Dear Selma Maria Pezza, thank you so much. This is the main point that prompted me to create this channel to explain the truth and the roots of the dances we love. Certainly, the Awalim played the largest role in the emergence of baladi dance, and they also played a large role with the Jawari in the emergence of Oriental dancing as well.
Thank you so much, dear Basmalla Mohamed, I'm very glad that you like the video and the channel. Also, don't hesitate to write me any question related to this beautiful art.❤️️
@@basmallamohamed2523 Unfortunately, there is no single source that gathers all this information about the Awalim in one book that I can recommend. This problem has always confronted me whenever I asked any of my dance instructors when I was dancing, to the extent that I conducted extensive scientific research on the history of dance in Egypt, especially these groups, until I reached this information mentioned in this video. The complete information is already available in my published research in the specialized scientific journal. I also explain it in my lectures in Egypt and internationally, in addition to much about folk, oriental, and belly dancing as well. I hope someday you can attend one of my lectures to get the full picture. One of my research in Arabic below: folkculturebh.org/ar/index.php?issue=29&page=article&id=544 On the other hand, I am very pleased that you are following me on the channel until the opportunity arises for us to meet, and you always have the right to send any question you would like to know the answer to.
Thank you so much. My English pronunciation is very bad because it is not my tongue. You're very welcome to not trust me. this channel is for people who want to know the truth but not you.
