Thanks Man, I gotta do some actual driving videos with this thing. Kind of forgot about it with this huge Mustang project I've got going on right now. Almost done, so will get some more of this thing on here. These things really are cool even stock (worlds fastest production SUV four years in a row until Porsche Cayenne beat it with a gear change and 5 less HP) With over 700 they're complete Monsters
Thanks, moving on to next toy. It's for sale on Cargurus right now 2011 X6M w/ 38k miles. Deal now before I start removing things come April 1st (most buyers are not interested in the performance mods)
Thanks, well this thing has a Bunch of Mods but unlike most things I own I have to admit this time I didn't have to do anything to this except install a boost gauge (mechanical one, old school I like to SEE the needle flicking around). Some rich guy put 57k into this thing, drove it 17k miles, and then traded it in on a new GT3. Totally the way to get the best of everything if you're not into spending 10k on an exhaust system, 7k for coil-overs, 11k for wheels and tires, etc, etc, etc...!! I did pay 10k over book value at the time, but I simply justified it as 10k for 57k worth of goodies that I would never have paid for myself, right !!
This X6M also has the optional 'offroad' downpipes with additional tuning which makes it SIGNIFICANTLY louder than the basic system shown here: www.akrapovic.com/en/car/product/58/BMW/X6-M-E71/2014/Evolution-Line-Titanium-X6-M?brandId=19&modelId=69&yearId=3354
with downpipes? Well it's been about 8 years since this was installed with downpipes and tune so prices may have come down.... I bought this unit w/ 17k miles on it and the original owner had done all that so I knew it was a nice bonus!
@@fortheLOVEofMODsMike actually I think it was just a cat-back setup and re-flash computer tune that the ecu had to be sent out for but either way mods for this beast are very expensive definitely worth it tho 😀
I own the same X6M I have a 2010. Watch out for pressure sensors that drip oil from the engine which causes white or light bluish smoke coming from the exhaust from sitting idle at a traffic light or sitting parked. I'm in the middle of a $6000 repair job to get mines fixed per a few BMW Mechanics it's a common problem for the X6M
Captain Fartmaster it’s gotta be garage kept or at least living in an warm lushes environment. At least a good wash 1x a week or 2x a month. To keep those sockets from drying up or getting crummy and dirty.
Love the all V8 and minimal turbo whistle sound at all...
So perfect man. I LOVE this. My dream suv

wow!! cold start is loud!! neighbors are gonna be pissed in the morning lol
Fortunately it's a rare occasion when that happens. My daily driver is a 4 cylinder.....with a pair of 'quiet' 2 chamber flowmasters!!!
Woow its perfect , cold engine and You give Gas

I'm looking at a tune and exhaust for mine looks to be around $7k 😬.....I could drop a Hemi stroker in my SRT for close to that amount

Tray Lewis my buddy just dropped $14k for a whole new engine lol
ooooh, sorry to hear, but thanks, is there a typical mileage occurance, mine just turned 36,000 ??
What’s the preventive action to take so that doesn’t happen?
