luved it I'm a dad to 3 daughters. their mother went to heaven when the youngest was born. I was able to raise them to adulthood. It is one of the finest of lifes blessings to be both mom and dad.
This tells more about the mum than about the lil girl...
Possibly the best "payoff" line in the history of film. Seriously, it's right up there with "Rosebud."
Just under that film's punch line would be.. "It's Arson", "Huh?"... "Yeah, you two arsing around..."
Kid's mind saying,,, why the hell do they have to make love to bottle the Extra virgin olive oil.. 😮😊😊

Kid: wow, that’s weird, because my best friend in daycare told me he came from California.

Wonderful explanation
A friend of mine, who happens to be an amputee, had his daughter ask where babies come from. He said, "Your mom and I decided we wanted a baby. So we took a little piece of me, and a little piece of mommy, and we mixed them together and made you."
Now this is a perfectly factual explanation for a 4-year-old. Perhaps it will work fine for you, but if you are missi8ng a part of your body, it may cause confusion.
My friend's daughter said, "But Mommy has all her parts."
Rather than doing the proper thing, he said, "Are you sure? You've never seen mommy's tail, have you."
Several weeks later they received a bunch of old, 8mm home movies from her parents. They had the films transferred to DVD. One of the films was from a summer camping trip at his wife, aged 2 or 3 was playing in the water naked (this was quite common back in the day. Kids under 4 or 5 playing naked on the beach. So long as it's not sexual, showing children nude is not CP)
My friend's daughter was fascinated watching her mother play when her mother was younger than she was at the time. Then came the question, "But Mommy, where is your tail?"
My friend had some explaining to do.
When kids ask, avoid being awkward about it. Discuss what happens as simply as as possible while remaining clear.
Kids will see if you are uncomfortable and they may avoid asking important questions in the future. And they may develop feelings that sex is wrong. Sex is a natural part of life, and your kids will hear about it anyway. The only question is, who wi8ll teach them.
I have clear memories from second grade talking about sex with friends at school. I don't remember when I heard about sex for the first time, but I remember already knowing about it when I was in second grade. So I'd learned about it already, years and years before I started wanting to do it.
Your only control you have is how your child learns. I was in second grade in the 1970's, so I never had internet access growing up. Still there was a ton of information floating around the school yard. Most of it was wrong. I have no doubt that there is much more of it these days, still most of it is wrong.
