I bought my g37 with 100k miles in 2017 its a great car all you need to do is keep up with the preventive maintance. I had a few minor repairs like I had to reprogram the cpu. The dealer charged me $150 and I had to change the starter reprogram the the cpu in the transmission. And I had to change the coverters. At the end of the day I have about 175k miles and my G runs like a new car.
Bought 2011 G37 7years at 110k miles and just hit 177k. Zero engine issues including A/C, reg oil changes with premium synthetic. 1st major maintenance rotors/breaks next week.. Just started mixing E85 70/30 with 87 and mid grade.. 👌
Thank you for the informative vids! Have used them for a lot of prevent maint on my 2012 x sedan (7spd), coming up on 100k. I also drive 80+ miles a day round trip to work, and kind of beat on it. WOT is still a blast in this sedan. Bought this car with 60k on it, have fixed: Sunroof drain (passenger side), new alternator, thermostat. Passenger-side cat started rattling at 85k, replaced with HFC's. The OEM cats were fine, the rattle annoyed me is all, and I wanted better sound. While I was under there, I did the y-pipe as well, it was rusting in the DC climate. Other than those issues, car has been 100% reliable, and I have done regular service on it - all fluids (atf drain/fill, etc) plugs, filter, etc. Looking to put another 100k on it. Sorry if I sound a tad different from other commentators cos i owned a M37 2011 and not G37. Is it a must to do transmission flush? I got the car at 64k in early 2021 and currently have 69k on it now. Are there signs to look out for for early detection of a failing tranny or if low on ATF?
Hows it going. I have a g37 coupe 2013 and I was kind of confused because I bought the car with 37k miles. So you see how theres 2 numbers on the screen behind the steering wheel? The numbers on top is the actual miles? So that means the numbers on the bottom by the A is what then because mine says 67k something and I thought I did 30k miles in 1 year and I dont even drive the damn thing everyday lol so i was confused like shit I'm going to have to get rid of this car soon cause i didnt want to lose any money on it because of the milage. So numbers on top is the real miles right and it's ok the bottom numbers are higher than the top?
