Disappointing is that all presentations of this model fail to express how they receive on AM. I understand that apparently commentators have no proper antenna nor conditions for reception but wouldn't it be nice? I have one 3400 and it works no comparable to what is possible to watch on YT. Anyway for me still it is not my best dream radio - bulky and heavy, requiring manipulation of drum with force, with sub-bands which do not cover all SSB bands and they put switching bands on top forcing to look at from top . Grundig put a lot of effort to make it solid by eye and construction but after years it gets typical issues as happens also to other brand receivers in such age.
