It's so true that many of us are scared to admit we're on antidepressants. I'm more open about it now, but it used to stress me a lot. You're always so insightful and informative. Keep fighting, girl 💪
Thank you ☺. I don't think you are alone in having being scared about admitting you are on antidepressants. I think a lot of people feel that way. But there is nothing wrong with taking medication to help your mental health. Keep fighting ♥
You are so right, breaking of habits leads to the change in weight. It is not instantaneous. Much the same with weight loss for an obese person, there are ups and downs, times when perhaps one is losing by ounces at a time. Well in your recovery you may gain only ounces at a time, but while still breaking bad habits and turning around negative thought processes. Don't let anyone insult your journey or keep you from sharing. 💗
Thank you! I did the Genesight test after 25 years of struggling. I have found a combination that helps me with making therapeutic progress with anxiety and OCD. This helped helped me make some progress with food as well. Brain-based illnesses are just as valid as physical illnesses and society needs to catch up!
Hi , I had anorexia too and now I'm in recovery but my hair falling out in clumps and it's almost 2 months and half and still continues, so for how long your hair loss lasted? Did I getting bald or it stops? Did you have balding areas? I am so scared I don't know what to do
I think everyone is different and my experience won't be the same as someone else's. I didn't go bald or have patches without hair. With good nutrition your hair does start to improve and get stronger. Keep going with your recovery. ♥ Xx
I always start taking meds and then become so frustrated with them. I always fear that I will be on them forever and that i won't be able to properly function once off of it. 🤔 Thank you for the video Bex!
Some meds are needed long term and there should be no fear in that. I think you just have to keep listening to your body. If your body is benefitting from them, then I personally will keep taking them. Xx
Awh..... Bex .. we don't know each other but if your in a dark place honestly you could message me I'd answer you everytime. I'm a recovering ed too I hope you are well
Recovery is far more than just weight gain. In the same way that you can't tell how ill someone is by their weight, you also can't tell how well someone is doing in recovery by their weight. You don't know what I weigh, you don't know what my care plan is, you don't know what my recovery goals are & what I'm working towards. Results to you may look like weight gain, to me results are having a social life, being flexible, breaking rigid rules, amongst many other things. Please don't insult my recovery because it doesn't fit with what you believe it should.
