I graduated as a mechanical engineer, even though I don’t work in it I really appreciate your thorough breakdown of the data. You speak through it well too, great video!
This was the most comprehensive and logical New World data video that I have ever seen. You are extremely thorough and I greatly appreciate all of the work that you put into making this wonderful video!
Love your stuff. You are a unique perspective as far as who I've seen for NW content. Thank you very much for creating for us. Excellent 👍 and I'm looking forward to looking up your other vids.
23:17 I agree with you, why the hell range weapon needed STR? Primary Attributes for Blunderbuss should be Dex, and secondary is INT. So it's will be a good combination for Blunder + Musket or Blunder + Rapier. Blunder is not even a melee, it's medium range weapon. Only Melee should use STR.
The root on claw shot is useful because you can cancel the grappling part with another regular shot or ability. Blast shot then roll or walk forward and shoot, claw shot then cancel the grapple animation then shoot again
One note: there is a large bug right now affecting the elemental gems in weapons. You do significantly less damage with any of the elemental gems on abilities like Mortar, Shrapnel Blast, Splitting Grenades and even the Musket's Sticky Bomb and Firestaff's Fireball.
Thanks for breaking it down! I am glad there are people out there to crunch the numbers as I am not so sure I could do it lol. I was wondering what your thoughts about a split of 200 int, 100 str and 150 con for light armor with Blunder and IG? I know the more glass cannon build would be to bump it up to 250 int and 100 con but I do like the survivability of the 150. I think I always get confused about the estimated damage that they say on the side with the weapons as you increase or decrease the attributes. Is that how we should look at the damage or is more of what you showed in your charts.
Those weapons don't synergize at all. Anything in str is a total loss for the musket; and dex, though great for musket and good perks, does nothing for bb.
Look how far this man has to go to mimic a fraction of our power. jkjk, but nw damage scaling is solved with much better accuracy already. Check the fandom wiki, morrolan's website, or mixed's calc. Most of the difficulty is in finding the base damage hidden decimals, but that was solved like 6 months ago. The devs are also aware of the crit and gem bugs; they've been reported they've just been dragging their feet with it. It actually isn't new to blunderbuss, it applies to anything that spawns a projectile.
This is an old video but what about the 250 int perk that increases duration of elemental spells? It should increase the duration of any fire dots but I have not tested it.
Very nicely done. But 300 strength and 200 intelligence is not a good choice if your secondary weapon is all strength like hatchet. Not mention your need some points in con to survive on PvP.
I know a fix it shouldn't be a fking str stat it should be dex only another design flaw is the sword and shield can set up so many insta kills sns/bb sns/wh sns/ga sns/life there a hard swerk away range range weapons being bottom tier they need a buff magic needs a dam Nerf
I bet they wanted it to scale with dex / int but it was too strong so they are like alright lets hve it scale w/ str. Also they probably already had great sword in mind scaling with dex.

This video it’s brilliant, exactly what I was looking for this hole time on UA-cam searching for new world videos!

Great work, so much went into this

Holy, all those numbers just show the hate love relationship with testing :') great job!

Gem interaction is crucial to this weapon. You should add it into the charts.
agree, So much numbers and graphs only for base weapons not worth it imo.
This is exactly the kind of detail I needed. You're awesome 👌
You have a video for armor? Physical vs balanced vs magic. Resistances vs armor.
Outstanding research and statistics. Excellent points on the design issues of this weapon. Subbed.
Blunderbee Tuna.
Yeah, that's a sub. Great video!
In the first 30 sec i knew this video will be great, thanks man
24:41 *whitout gravity wheel AND LEAPING STRIKE (that is currently the best gap closer and OP)
Love the style. Techie but juicy. Thanks brother

Great insight at the end of the video!
great guide! a lot of info, i wish you could do a blonderbuss guide and pvp gameplay, tx!
Thank you so much for this!
Is the sheet available? Is it possible to punch numbers in to see the scale. For example 200str and 150 int vs 50 str and 300int
Well, this is an amazing research job
Congrats on the good work my friend.
Can you link the excell doc so we can look at the raw numbers too? Since it's not as easy to look through the data in the video.
nice vid but the no combo comment did not age well considering theres the instant kill combo lol
Thank you for the info!! do you think you could do a build guide for a paladin tank for Pve Expeditions??
Great Info. Cheers
hey what about ur forge channel ?
Appreciate the content Brother.
Have any changes come to the weapon since this video?
Thanks for this video! I’m trying to put together a musket blunder build. Any suggestions or tips ?

Any chance of sharing the spreadsheet?
Best thing i ever saw

Ya not sure homie, I would think the same it should but would have to test myself

Can u provide link to all the data?
I am a ME too and I was doing this then I was like I bet someone already did
Holy cow...how many hours did you put into this?!?! LOL
How do you make your weapon glow
Put any elemental gem into it
tyvm, as someone else has mentioned, this would have been great with int gems.
After all those charts and math, do I get a college credit for watching this video?! 😉 J/k. Great job!
yes :D buss university
Dex perks also works. 100 dex
200strengh + 150 intelect + ruby tier 2 is the way 🤟

I don't think I've ever seen anyone represent Strength with blue and Intelligence with red..
99% of the time it's the other way around...
