Legendary ranges are 600-625 (cheap) and 675+ (expensive). Just don't craft anything in the 626-674 range and you won't be wasting resources too much. Craft 600-625 stuff for arena/opr and 700 for everything else. 725 crafting is only possible with the schematics from raid. The schematics themselves are so rare that they're easily worth 1M+ gold, so if anyone even sells one, you probably won't be able to afford it (and if you do hit the jackpot in your raid run, you probably should not sell it either, unless you don't plan or can't afford to craft 725 gear to sell).
Your content helped me so much as a new "world" player. Especially the little things which the game doesnt tell you or just experienced player know. Keep it up. The console players need you 😊
This whole system just highlights that AGS never had a defined gear progression system. Hey, great video. One question though I don’t have any items to be crafted for dark materia. I want chest of frigid dawn and there’s no named items to be crafted why is that? Do I have to drop it one time and then it can be recrafted?
Nope, you can still get the coconut from the pvp island solo, I do it all the time. You can also buy 3 epic boxes per day with doublooms that have a chance to get 725 GS. You can also get most of the artifacts by just joining a random open world group thats farming a specific one, or getting a tag on the mob. Lastly there is a weekly chest from OPR/Arenas (5% chance for getting the box) that can drop 725.

I wish AGS would simplify upgrading gear easier in that they should put an indicator on a piece of gear/weapon showing it can be upgraded. You get so much gear its overwhelming at times and also needing to have the item in your inventory or not being worn at the time is sort of odd, why can't you store an item in a storage shed in the same town as the kiln and able to see if that item is upgradable ? or standing at the kiln and I have a ring or amulet on and being able to see if I can upgrade it then either go get the item out of storage or unslot the item and upgrade it ?
Just don't salvage Deckhand's promotion earring as you won't be able to ever get it again and it's a very strong 'illegal' (it's an earring with weapon gem in it) item. I got say as a returning player, this game feels all over the place. I played for 1,5 years after the original Launch and i dont get the bigger picture anymore. For me the game feels way to overcomplicated and without a vision. For every new mechanic or mode they have added, they also added at least 5 new currencies, hoops to jump trought, exceptions and "but´s". I mean yes the launch was really buggy, kinda empty in the endgame department and the competence systems was a complete waste of time. I feel the whole root of the problem is still this system, or the mindset this system represents: "Make the System last long (take long), not fun." I really tried to give the game a chance again, i really did. New account, new server, new guild and a lot of enthusiasm for the New World experience. But i can´t oversee that this game is so afraid of just beeing fun instead of a caring home for people with way to much time. (And mean this in the best way possible).
The thing is chromatic x3, matrix 5k so it's 20k per ugrade. And a solo player like me and no time to do raids has no chance to upgrade my artifact to 725 since its tied to raids. Gg AGS
There are other ways to get 725 outside of the raid. Coconut from the pvp island, the 3 epic crates for dublooms (3 per day), artifacts that drop in the open world and pvp reward track, chest from opr/arena (1 per week). Also a good 3 perk 700 gs is better than a crap perk 725 gs item
@@tonykeally1039 I think everyone that plays MMO's wants their characters to feel more powerful when there's an option to increase that power regardless of what content they're playing

soooo just because an item is lower GS i shouldn't auto salvage it but instead double check the perks incase they're good, then upgrade it if I can. whoops. I've just been looking at gear score and salvaging if it's not mid-high 600's, not even considering perks.
Why they dont put some icon, or give more orange glow to items that can be upgraded? They been fixing NW system so much that it became a mess and confusion.

It randomly rerolls the third perk so def don’t do it twice
clickbait thumbnail, can't upgrade 620 to 700 then to 725
Anyone can tell me why the flail from the well of fortune, is the only weapon that is not named and cannot be upgraded to 725?
lol salvaged so much cause I didn’t understand at the time 😢
Need some help!!!
I’m currently lv 30 in Everfall, decent armour, decent weapons. I’m fighting enemies that are around level 25 and I’m doing hardly any damage?
The enemies level is highlighted in red which usually means they are a higher level than you but I’m level 30!!! 🤦♂️
And armor? How i can get pvp armor at 725, pve 725 only drops from the raid?
Do items 710gs from worm(sandion), upgraded?
So you upgrade to 700 than you can upgrade to 725 I’m new to the game as well as this yep of game trying to learn everything can you just upgrade to 725? The bet way to get 700 gear is craft it ?
How do u craft named items?
I got hyped for 2 days but the game is actually the same as before, so i saw i was repeating the same things i did with my old character
I feel the whole root of the problem is still this system, or the mindset this system represents: "Make the System last long (take long), not fun."
I really tried to give the game a chance again, i really did. New account, new server, new guild and a lot of enthusiasm for the New World experience. But i can´t oversee that this game is so afraid of just beeing fun instead of a caring home for people with way to much time. (And mean this in the best way possible).
The item cannot be locked…….that got me.
Guys what's the good build for solo mammoth?
The thing is chromatic x3, matrix 5k so it's 20k per ugrade. And a solo player like me and no time to do raids has no chance to upgrade my artifact to 725 since its tied to raids. Gg AGS
There are other ways to get 725 outside of the raid. Coconut from the pvp island, the 3 epic crates for dublooms (3 per day), artifacts that drop in the open world and pvp reward track, chest from opr/arena (1 per week). Also a good 3 perk 700 gs is better than a crap perk 725 gs item
Just curious tho if you’re not into any of the endgame stuff why do you need endgame armor? Is it just for pvp?
@@tonykeally1039 I think everyone that plays MMO's wants their characters to feel more powerful when there's an option to increase that power regardless of what content they're playing
Hey , can you update the discord link, please
So.... the only way to get the best gear is to craft our buy it? Can you not get 700-725 gear from in- game activities?
There is a couple ways.
Gorgon raid drops up to 725, and m1-3 drops up to 700. Hope that helps :)
725GS can be gotten from the Hive of Gorgons Raid, and 710GS (which upgrades) from the Sandworm!
You can still get the coconut from the pvp island solo, I do it all the time. You can also buy 3 epic boxes per day with dublooms that have a chance to get 725 GS. You can also get most of the artifacts by just joining a random open world group that's farming a specific one, or getting a tag on the mob. You can get 700 GS from the pvp reward track or upgrade named stuff from the world/expeditions. Lastly there is a weekly chest from OPR/Arenas (5% chance for getting the box) that can drop 725.
soooo just because an item is lower GS i shouldn't auto salvage it but instead double check the perks incase they're good, then upgrade it if I can. whoops. I've just been looking at gear score and salvaging if it's not mid-high 600's, not even considering perks.
They could fix all of this by clearing putting on gear what can and cannot be upgraded.
Pretty mental the game doesn’t really explain half this
quick question : can I upgrade my 625 not named gears to 700?
No, needs to be the named gear
@ damn…my whole set 625 BIS gears before DLC launched became useless …rage quit this fking game

How to Upgrade Items in New World Aeternum
Why they dont put some icon, or give more orange glow to items that can be upgraded? They been fixing NW system so much that it became a mess and confusion.
