That is one downside to a heated shelter camp. It takes about 2 hours to fully setup aka stocked with wood etc etc So it is better for a muti day stay. That said the all surrounding heat reverses the 2 hours in about 15 minutes. It is amazing. Thanks for watching.

I never go anywhere with out my 1987 Swiss army knife.
Though I lost the toothpick , I still have the original tweezers.
My trusty swiss army knife has never let me down and has been instrumental in building around five hundred different shelters from tarp tee-pee's to full on stick and string shacks complete with bed and porch bench.
Can hardly tell it's been used...though I use it every day since I live out in the wilderness and have renounced the tyrants who run the country of my birth.

In your opinion what is the best stove? I'm interested in a stove for a six man tent, occupied by two persons. I'd like a decent size cooking surface, say four to six cup capacity. And I'm also interested in a stove that has something built in to stop ash fallout.

Floor less shelter is very adventurous in winter. I can walk into the shelter with my boots on. I don't need to worry about the floor being melted by the stove. I don't need to worry about damaging the floor processing wood. i rarely use a floor when winter camping though do have a ground cloth under my sleeping area. I do have multiple lanterns and on occasion use them. I am wearing a headlamp which is great. Thanks for watching.

I agree that Kifaru gear is expensive. From the videos I've seen their tipi/shelter fabric is much more tear resistant than other similar lightweight waterproof fabrics and it is custom made for them. It also seems that Kifaru doesn't offer a 4 man or 6 man tipi any longer. They go from the Tut to the Sawtooth to the 8 man tipi and then up from there.

It is a shame Kifaru also stopped making the Small sized box stove as well. I can say the Sawtooth is a very nice shelter. Don't own one but did hang out inside a friends. Thanks for watching!

But then all those people who ‘rough it for fun’ are really very strange to me!
