I love it xD I often have conversations with other fans especially fans of Dragonball and they just have no argumentation in conversations where you say hey Goku certainly has weaknesses with which you can defeat him but most just say no Goku destroys your planet and that's it...! The problem with power scaling in db, is that it's not consistent at all. When super Saiyan god was introduced. A simple clash of fists between beerus and Goku was enough to threaten the entire universe. But the next transformations never lived up to that power unfortunately. People consider Goku multiversal, because they scale him based on that fit. But that logic is false cause all these villains that he took on and got his @$$ whooped, don't even come close to being multiversal. Only galactic or multi galactic at best. Yes Toriyama originally wanted SSG goku to be universal, or close to that. But then he realized that he made a mistake cause that amount of power would have made him impossible to beat by the upcoming antagonists. So he clearly nerfed it, thus the upcoming transformations don't seem to measure up to that standard. Heck, SSG had regeneration abilities. Why do the next forms that rely on it don't have one?. And why it seemed that even SSG lost that ability as well in later chapters?. Let's face the facts here. Originally, the SSG transformation was meant to be ridiculously strong. Limitless and infinite power are not the same thing and is something people often confuse. Yes saitama has broken through his limiter, if we equate power to a mountain this means he can climb forever. He can go up tier after tier in power. However just because he can reach any given point eventually does not mean he is their already. He is not at the top of the mountain just because he can reach the top. So we have to base his power of what he has shown not his potential. Goku has shown multi versal feats when fighting beerus. Their collision of fists was going to destroy the universe. This universe is bigger than a normal universe based on statements and diagrams, the universe that goku resides is is a spec compared to the vastness of heaven which was also going to be destroyed. Goku then absorbed this power into his base form. This is at the start of DBS. At best you can call saitama galaxy level based on the punch that created a giant hole in the sky. And while saitama would get stronger throughout the fight so would goku. The destruction alone is not enough but you can use Attack Potency instead. Garou literally has the power of GOD in his verse even though there’s a limit to being his hand. You should argue universal or even higher for him(until later debunked if the story does a retcon) as there are timelines. Just scale to those timelines for at least part of Attack Potency(muh Scaling) for Garou even using a slight nod to time rings from DB as a translator to say Saitama arguably now scales above those for those who disagree and they can’t argue that.

That’s why I would actually prefer seeing a death battle between two characters but the powers are removed and it’s a one-on-one fistfight skills only and they can only fight relative to their human strength or strength class based on species and body type. Goku versus Superman but both have the power stripped and its pure skill and knowledge of their own fighting styles. And no outside help the characters have to be basically able to have the Canon appearance and are basically relative to the actual species in common strength and weaknesses.

Yes saitama has broken through his limiter, if we equate power to a mountain this means he can climb forever. He can go up tier after tier in power. However just because he can reach any given point eventually does not mean he is their already. He is not at the top of the mountain just because he can reach the top. So we have to base his power of what he has shown not his potential. Goku has shown multi versal feats when fighting beerus. Their collision of fists was going to destroy the universe. This universe is bigger than a normal universe based on statements and diagrams, the universe that goku resides is is a spec compared to the vastness of heaven which was also going to be destroyed. Goku then absorbed this power into his base form. This is at the start of DBS. At best you can call saitama galaxy level based on the punch that created a giant hole in the sky. And while saitama would get stronger throughout the fight so would goku. I mean he needed ssg to fight beerus to being that strong in base, he mastered ultra instinct in 20 minuets something that gods with millions of years to train can’t do, and overall just got many thousands of times stronger throughout the tournament of power. Saitama got a few times stronger when he fought Garou, however he only got stronger because he was blood lusted after genos died. We also don’t know how much stronger he got. Finally even if saitama could get to gokus level in the fight gokus base being multi universal makes it so he would simply one tap this current saitama. That’s why I would actually prefer seeing a death battle between two characters but the powers are removed and it’s a one-on-one fistfight skills only and they can only fight relative to their human strength or strength class based on species and body type.
