This guy is not a GM yet because he wants to get all his GM norms with dubious gambits. He won't rest until he VanPopiels Magnus.
You might be onto something... ;)
Another great video. Thanks.😀
That’s really sick. Love the flexibility where you can attack w either the F or H pawn - hard for your opponent to positionally prevent both threats. Strike first, strike hard, no mercy
This was a very poorly presented video... :/
I am a chess player myself, yet I kept getting confused between what's actually the real-time game and what's you analyzing various developments... :/
Just... please do a *SEPARATE* video devoted *ENTIRELY* on the Alphabet gambit and how it leads to a quick win! :)

I think the original gambit line is refuted by the White move 9. Nd6+, which forces dark square bishop trade, leaving Black overextended, with no piece development and without the bishop pair.
I started getting interested in these ultra-wing gambits lately, like in the Benko you actually sacrifice the rook for the opponent's bishop, then bring out yours. Perhaps the idea of having a safe bishop eyeing a monster diagonal can be improved by this tactic, with which you would remove the opposing bishop and rule supreme.
thanks nvr really had anything good vs the english
Best thumbnail yet
Loved it. Nice attacking game against the boring English :x
"Storage Square", 'diagonal uncorked'
Nada más te mando decir que los vampiros son reales, solo que es un poco difícil de explicar y de que te lo crean , pero si averiguas con los satánicos te darás cuenta de lo que hablo. Saludos.
This attack is very similar in 150 attack for white in reverse colors.
Nice win William. I will be trying this. Thanks
I really like the reverse morra against the english with 1.c4 d5?! 2.cxd5 c6
Me too but the thing is if white declines with either 3.d4 or 3.d6 it's not that fun
The first pair of moves are called the Anglo-Scandinavian, and it isn’t that good. Now you’re turning it into a gambit similar to the Kloosterboer Gambit, which itself is not very good, but maybe it works in this case since you’re leading white’s c pawn away instead of their e pawn.
Loved the analysis about reacting to the opponent's king side knight 👑🐴...very informative!
I was watching Ben Finegold’s analysis of game 5 of the WC match, but had to pause to watch your video. Good stuff man 😄
William, I’m curious how often if at all has White played d3 (after Nc3, b5)? Declining the gambit. Curious if you’d kick the knight with b4 or something else?
Well played and very informative. Love the concept of waiting for the knight to move to f3 or e2 to decide where to attack!.
I absolutely love to play a6 against the English opening. You can play so many creative things. Most of my opponents thought I am trolling. Sometimes they even play d4 and e4 with move 2 and 3. Then I play e6 followed by d5. This is very good for black.
Haha, you said it later in the video 👍
