As a bird player I approve this video. I checked out the engine lines for Nf3 after Qxc7 and they are absolutely wild. Instead of something like e3, Nf6 you play Nc3, Bg3+, hxg3 Qxg3 Ke2 Qf7+ Kd3! And the position is equal, absolutely hilarious. (Not knocking down on this video, but it’s not in every position where a side runs their king into the center in the middle game with an equal position.) also to make matters even better, the next move for black is Nc6 Nd2 b5!

Believe it or not, as a gambiteer myself I ended up coming up with your same idea of playing blackmar-diemer adjacent lines against all of Black's defences against 1.e4 that featured an early ...d5. You can even get a von-popiel against the Alekhine! 1.e4 Nf6 2.Nc3 d5 3.e4!. Wish you the best

My experience when playing the white side of a Scandanavian Defense is that, when I try to transpose it into a Blackmar-Deimer or the Sneider Attack, I usually face 2...c6 and now I'm on the white side of a Caro-Kann, which I hate. actually there is ... 1e4c5, 2 d4 Mora Gambit ... d5!? reverse Albin counter Gambit or the scandinavian move order 1e4d5, 2d4 Blackmar Diemer gambit and here ... 2...c5 transposes to the same reverse Albin gambit against the queen gambit

Seems like mining the databases and using the computer for confirmation makes these gambits much more plausible. In days past, you would have to play your move and hope that your home analysis was accurate. With the computer you know it is accurate. Perhaps this is the new direction of chess...seems like it anyway.

43:53. This move where we trade bishops on a6, I am not sure you can play Nxf3. Because when they retake, yes, they will have doubled pawns, but the pawn on f3 attacks the knight on e4. When you move it , their light bishop can escape and you lost a whole knight just to double their pawns. Right? But after Bxa6, I think you can do that trick with Qa5+ and then Qxa6. Not sure where the game will go from there but they cant castle easily and we can still aim to put the knight on f2

It's not beginner friendly and it looks risky if you ask me. I mean the king is at the centre and it has no intention to castle. A grandmaster could probably destroy this.

There's a gambit in the Alipin if they respond with Nf6 instead of d5. Which is e5 Nd5 and then f4!
