Very clean work Patrick! I use the pipe trick, it works beautifully. I love the way double bound teles look. Hate the square edge. Consider an arm bevel the binding follows. I did that on the skull LPJ.
16 mil for the neck pickup, 18 mil for the bridge pickup and about an inch and a half for the control cavity. Mixing measurement systems like that makes you sound Canadian. 😂
This reminds me of The Beatles, Get Back concept. Return to basics to remember what it was like at the start when you had to really rely on your own skills.
The pipe and putty knife trick is a good example of how you can make a world class guitar with only primitive tools. Experience is everything.
