Hey man, I don’t think I’ve ever commented on UA-cam before but I want to say that you know how to create music for the pedal, how to find the musicality in the machine, and so few out there know how to make these boxes shine like you do. Wasn’t very interested in this pedal but you made such sweet music with it. When a company puts out something unique, I come to Pedal Zone for a real demonstration of its capabilities. Thank you, keep up the good work, shine bright.
Incredibly humbled and honored by this incredible act of kindness. Thank you so much! I'm seriously just stoked to hear that my musical explorations with these beautiful boxes of sonic joy bring you inspiration and insight. That's more than I could ever hope for ❤
Agreed, people like PedalZone, Pete Thorn, Andy from Reverb really take the time to get to know the pedal versus just turning it on and turning some knobs as their demos. Keep up the good work!
But not even Andy and Pete come close to this warmth and wondefulness in your creations, Stefan. Sometimes it's hard to decide between pedals that will be great on my board and with my not-that-good playing and which pedals only you can let shine that way with your deep and musical genius. :D
So so so so so wonderful to see a demo that isn't the same rehashed blues riffs played over and over. I'm sold on this pedal simply because I know what it will do with the type of music I actually listen to ... like MBV!
I love that effect so much as well. Happy you enjoyed the synth example. It's probably my personal fave as well. That random mode is just glorious on long sustaining pads ❤
Haha- nice little touch adding the video artifacts when you pulled out the minkorg. Reminds me of my days in grade school watching movies on the old film projectors.
ThePedalZone So Warden, Avalanche run, bit commander, data corrupter, bellows, spatial Delivery, night wire, rainbow machine on same board, Am I forgetting an essential?
Awww, man! Thanks! Happy you can see all the work that goes into these demos. It takes a lot of time, but when it's appreciated on the other end, then it makes all the hours worth it ❤
what a pleasant surprise to wake up to. i thought EQD would make something like this for awhile. i mean, a chorusy vibrato lofi junkie kinda thing. couldnt have guessed all the waveforms theyd utilize but i guess thats what earthquakers all about. taking old stuff but making its own in ways you wouldnt guess. good stuff as usual stefan
I love vibrato and have to say this pedal goes above and beyond on the subject. Been exploring it for a month and there is so much more to tweak out of it ... and you did a great job here of zeroing in on some of the highlights.
I'm such a vibrato fan as well, and this pedal is one of the best I've played. Really happy to hear you're enjoying the pedal as well, and that you liked the demo. Means a lot 🙏
I really liked it on the MicroKorg as well. It really likes long sustaining pads. But it’s definitely more than okay on guitar 😊 Happy you enjoyed the demo 🙏
This is definitely the BEST demo of this pedal so far. Idk if I'm glad or sad that I saved this one for last. But now you got me wanting the aqueduct AND fuzz master general...
I forgot I was watching a demo video. That was beautiful, Stefan. That being said, yes, the "MBV setting" kills, especially with the capabilities of the Flexi-Switch!
Thank you very much! And yes, the flexi-switch is great with Env P mode. Lets you create timed and precise whammy-bar bends without having one equipped on your guitar. Really cool! ☺
I usually have to use a Digitech Whammy set to a 2nd down for those gazey glides (on guitars w/o whammy/trem bar), this could definitely free up some real estate or other possibilities of the Whammy, though!
If teaching how music can express subtle emotions and reflect complex experiences like no other form, I would use your vids as examples.Damn fine work.
I saw the “the big one is coming” teaser add for this pedal, and immediately thought can’t wait to hear Stefan’s demo of whatever this pedal is. To find out it’s a do it all vibrato has me stoked. I just got a Shallow Water and have had a Diamond Vibrato for some time. Too many nostalgia inducing pedals can’t be a bad thing right? Incredible demo btw...
Not a big vibrato fan but that was a well executed demo! The Envelope Pitch Mode was my fav by far there. The combo with Dispatch Master and Fuzz Master General was really cool! Once again, good job!
The part starting from 6:34 is simply amazing, worth to become a song or even to start an album. I got the Aqueduct because of you and still hunt for the FMG, that thing is so hard to obtain.
Thanks, man! I'll hopefully get around to doing some solo stuff soon. It needs to happen. Until then, you're more than welcome to give my latest band project, Cloud Anthems a listen ☺ cloudanthems.bandcamp.com/releases
+ ThePedalZone (edited comment after checking the EP out) Stefan, that's superb... that'll be my next purchase for sure, followed & signed up to the mailing list too. If you feel like hearing what I do, look up santeras.bandcamp.com/
Oh thanks, man! I love Stranger Things, but didn't even think about my composition sharing similar vibes when making it. Honored that you can hear it in there though ❤
Wow!!! I genuinely wasn't expecting too much from this pedal when I heard it being talked about. I mean it's just another vibrato pedal, there's tons of them kicking about, and once you've heard one you've heard them all... right? WRONG! I was genuinely blown away by this demo, this pedal sounds incredible, your choice of tunes and licks showcased this pedals capabilities perfectly. I can see this little vibrato as being one of those effects that makes a big dent on the music scene over the next year or so and majorly influences the sound of a lot of bands. Incredible! And you certainly did it justice sir. 👍 Either that or I'm just so tired that I'm in an ethereal state between sleep and wake, where everything sounds transcendental.
I think I just need to buy the whole EQD catalog. There's not a pedal that they've put out that I haven't liked. I especially loved your demo with the synth. A lot of Boards of Canada vibes with the vibrato!
You definitely can't go wrong with EQD. They just make amazing pedals across the board. And I'm happy you liked the demo. That random mode is perfect for synth pads 😊
I can't say too much more than has already been said in the comments. But your playing style is utterly ear attractive. Kinda like a new age David Gilmour, very creative. Great demo, truly inspiring.
So, here I was, thinking "right, I am finally going to buy a Shallow Water" after sitting on the fence for a while. Then I watch this... OH MY GOD!!! Sorry Fairfield, I need the Aqueduct in my life... Nice playing and demo as always Stefan! EQD wins again!
I actually bought this pedal a few years ago to use as a Chorus pedal (hey, it's blue, isn't it?). The Env P mode is one of my favorite effects ever, THE BENDS ARE SO RAD, OPEN CHORDS ARE LIKE MAGIC.
Oh man, this pedal can give you that Kevin Shields feel without needing a Jazzmaster vibrato. Awesome! edit: Right after typing this comment you mentioned you're a huge MBV fan. dig it!
Hahahahahaha! This is probably one of the best comments I've ever read. Aren't we all supposed to be buying furniture... But let's get real, pedals are just so much more fun ☺😂 Happy you enjoyed the demo, bud. Means a lot ❤
You might just make me spend all of my money on EQD pedals, Stefan. What a great demo and a great pedal. When is your Synthwave/shoegaze album dropping tho >~>
I have! Huge fan. He’s a good friend and an amazing artist. So yeah, I like to pay tribute in my longer format demos, where I dive into the control set 😊 Happy you liked it. It’s a great pedal 🤘
Cool pedal! I'm usually not that big into vibrato pedals, but this one has enough options that I'd probably find at least a couple uses for it. That's the thing about EQD pedals: most take a simple pedal idea, and go way beyond what most people are used to (e.g. a flanger that is also an arpeggiator, a modulated reverb with a resonant filter, a synth pedal that also doubles as a killer fuzz). This one is no exception. The fact that it has a "shoegaze mode" is pretty unexpected. Overall, very impressed.
currently, it's the only pedal I sold and then bought again. it's pretty cheap and has a lot of unique moody sounds in it. also, it can easily be an always-on pedal with minimum settings using envelope modes. random is not that random to my taste due to a steady LFO, but oh well, many vibrato pedals don't have random at all. truly underhyped gem.
Great sounds. Almost a continuation of the Space Spiral? If this and the delay from the Space Spiral were in a bigger format pedal with maybe a tap tempo, that would be the ultimate. Either way, I'll be snagging this ASAP.
I would love for you to demo the earthquaker devices "The Depths" pedal! Since I like to watch your reviews before I purchase a pedal. You could make any pedal sound great!
Thank you so much for the kindness! Well, I have The Depth, and can only highly recommend it. One of the best univibes I've ever played, and the Voice dial makes it super versatile. Don't know if I'll get time to demo it. Have a very full demo schedule for the rest of the year. But trust me, you can't go wrong with it. It'll fit any style from ambient to classic rock ☺
Never thought I'd get emotional while seeing a pedal demo. This is so good! If you remember: did you went straight from the MicroKORG into the Afterneath, or had to go through a reamp box first? Since maybe the line level of the Korg would be too much for the Afterneath?
And thank you for such a truly kind and heartfelt comment. Means a lot to me. Super stoked that you enjoyed the demo and the sounds. Aqueduct is a great pedal ❤ I don't have any solo stuff out, but you're welcome to give my latest band project a listen here: cloudanthems.bandcamp.com/releases
No, but it will peoplegaze! You'll be able to see so freaking many people in, around and from the top of the Eiffel Tower. You'll never be alone again! ☺
Hmmmm. Sounds beautiful, but I have a Shallow Water now. Love me some lush vibrato though. You’ve used both, would it be worth adding this to a board that already has a SW?
lmao i might just get this one too. i have a shallow water now. and ill say its pretty gritty but has the best sweet spot. this pedal is pretty magical as well
You’re so good at guitar dude. I don’t know if you have a band or anything, but I would love to hear some actual music by you. Thank you for not playing recycled blues licks.
Hey man, I don’t think I’ve ever commented on UA-cam before but I want to say that you know how to create music for the pedal, how to find the musicality in the machine, and so few out there know how to make these boxes shine like you do. I totally agree with this.

your jam session at the end is so good that i remembered it 3 years later.
Man, this sounds great. Kudos to our friends at Earthquaker Devices and to Stefan for this demo.
Means so much coming from you guys. Thank you. Love you 😘
You make me fall in love with every single pedal.
Humbled and honored! Thank you for that kind comment ❤
Yeah my credit card is going to hate me
This is my favourite pedal demo ever. I keep coming back to it. Couldn't justify the purchase before, but I think I can now.
So so so so so wonderful to see a demo that isn't the same rehashed blues riffs played over and over. I'm sold on this pedal simply because I know what it will do with the type of music I actually listen to ... like MBV!
Dude brilliant use of this box WOW!can't wait till mine arrives now.
The Lego aqueduct was in your teaser on IG. The answer was right there. You got us.
And oh man, when that fuzz kicks in!!! Whew!
The answer is alway right there. We just need to know where to look ☺ Happy you liked the demo. Means a lot to me ❤
After watching this demo, I was sold, got my own Aqueduct and I love it. Using it for creative recording stuff.
That's amazing!
I love vibrato! Thanks for using it on the synth pads, it sounded great.
I love that effect so much as well. Happy you enjoyed the synth example. It's probably my personal fave as well. That random mode is just glorious on long sustaining pads ❤
Amazing. The sounds with the Korg and the guitar are totally inspiring. Thank you.
Really glad to hear you liked it!

Happy you enjoyed that bit ☺
Fantastic video. This moves me enormously
Glad you enjoyed it! Means a lot to me 🙏
I’m seriously going to have a whole board dedicated to EQD.
That already sounds like a killer board to me ❤
ThePedalZone So Warden, Avalanche run, bit commander, data corrupter, bellows, spatial Delivery, night wire, rainbow machine on same board, Am I forgetting an essential?
Westwood and Afterneath are pretty essential to me as well. But that sounds like an incredible setup though, dude! ❤
Mine is all eqd except for my compressor right now and I love it. Erupter, palisades, aquaduct, night wire, space spiral and afterneath in that order.
This demo brought a tear to my eye. Absolutely beautiful.
Awwww, man! Now you’re making me cry 😭 Thank you. Really happy you liked the demo ❤️🙏
It's been awhile since a demo has captivated me such. Great great job!
Oh wow! Incredibly honored to hear that. Thank you ❤
That was AWESOME. So incredibly well done.
Awwww, man! Thank you so much ❤️🙏
Wow... Will EQD ever disappoint? Seriously... This is an awesome pedal, and you did a wonderful job of showcasing that awesomeness. Thanks Stefan
No, I don’t think they know the word “disappoint” 😊 Happy you liked the demo, my friend. Always means a lot to me 🙏
Earthquaker just makes the best stuff, fantastic playing.
Totally agree. EQD are the best! And thank you for the kind words. Means a lot!
Brilliant demo thanks for your hard work
Awww, man! Thanks! Happy you can see all the work that goes into these demos. It takes a lot of time, but when it's appreciated on the other end, then it makes all the hours worth it ❤
What a wonderful demo. I don't even ordinarily like vibrato, but your writing and playing just shows the effect off from such a beautiful angle!
Crazy kind of you to say. Thank you! I'm honored to hear that I was able to give you a new perspective on this wonderful and warbly effect ❤
Man, you make some beautiful music! Very evocative!
Extremely kind of you! THANK YOU ❤️🙏

Thank you 😊🙏
This is my 3rd EQD and this demo show me how much more I can do with it. Luv this channel
Oh wow! That makes me super happy and proud to hear. Stoked you got some new inspiration and insight from my demo. Makes all the work worth it ❤
Amazing!!! Great demo....yet again! I will definitely be adding this to my board
So cool to hear! It's a phenomenal pedal. Really happy you enjoyed the demo. Means a lot to me ❤
Incredible demo as always. Thank you!!!
Awww, man! Thank you so much ❤
Killer demo.
Really dug those layers you put together with the Fuzz and Dispatch Master.
Thank you! ☺
what a pleasant surprise to wake up to. i thought EQD would make something like this for awhile. i mean, a chorusy vibrato lofi junkie kinda thing. couldnt have guessed all the waveforms theyd utilize but i guess thats what earthquakers all about. taking old stuff but making its own in ways you wouldnt guess. good stuff as usual stefan
Thanks, man! Yeah, EarthQuaker always go the extra mile. So much jammed into that tiny box of warbly wonder ☺
How could anyone downvote this, some of the most ethereal sounds I ever heard. You certainly have a gift with tone and sonic soundscapes.
Thank you! Really means a lot to me that you like the demo 🙏
What an awesome pedal, your demo at the end was insanely cool!!!
Thank you so very much ❤
Love the knobs aproach to the demo
Knobs is the best ❤
@@thepedalzonesorry but i like your demos more than knobs...
Awwww! Humbled and honoured, man ☺❤
@@thepedalzone have you ever thought of doing an ambient chord theory video? Im still stunned at the 6:20 mark

This is the best review of this pedal. You did it justice, dude. Mine is on the way. It's over the top, but needs a subtle touch. Great review.
Oh, man! Thank you so incredibly much ❤ You're gonna dig this pedal. So much warbly goodness in it ☺
Amazing syrupy tones Stefan! Another great pedal and demo!🤘
Thank you so much! ❤ EQD killed it here!
ThePedalZone Indeed man! Looking forward to get a hold of one these and I myself is a shoegaze addict. 😁
"I'm a sucker for perfect imperfections"- sounds like a great line for a song...Beautiful review as usual. And now I want yet another pedal....
I think that song has already been made ;) Happy you enjoyed the demo
Those were some sounds so beautiful, it almost brought a tear to my eye. :D Makes me consider swapping my Warped Vinyl with this.
Nefarius696 really? How come?
Warped Vinyl is VERY good. Also the Fairfield Shallow Water. :D

"VIbrato is just Chorus without the dry signal"
EQD makes the wildest vibrato ever with absurd weird modulations.
This one does it all, that's for sure ☺
Nice set design brother. Love Billy some legos!
Thank you 😘
RIP Fuzz Master General 2015-2019, it's been a good run.
It was a really good run, and will still be if you snag one now. It's really a killer octave fuzz. Love it for crushing synthy textures ☺
I see other demos online and think "meh, that pedal is just alright." But then you play it and make me want it asap!

Hmmmm. Sounds beautiful, but I have a Shallow Water now. Love me some lush vibrato though. You’ve used both, would it be worth adding this to a board that already has a SW?
To me, the Aqueduct is worth getting for the Envelope modes alone. Envelope Pitch Mode is just so awesome!
lmao i might just get this one too. i have a shallow water now. and ill say its pretty gritty but has the best sweet spot. this pedal is pretty magical as well
You’re so good at guitar dude. I don’t know if you have a band or anything, but I would love to hear some actual music by you. Thank you for not playing recycled blues licks.
