Carnival Freedom is a Conquest-class cruise ship operated by Carnival Cruise Line. She is the 22nd operating vessel in the fleet, and the last of the Conquest-class ships. The ship was built as part of a four-ship deal with Fincantieri's Marghera shipyard and was launched in Venice, Italy on April 28, 2006. She was delivered to Carnival on February 28, 2007. The ship is also one of the first of the Carnival Cruise Line fleet to get a complete to maintain of the kids’ program.

The Carnival Freedom ship has 1,150 crew, 1,487 cabins and is able to carry 2,974 passengers traveling at a speed of 21 knots.
Carnival Freedom entered a three-week routine drydock in Freeport, Bahamas on March 30, 2014 for refurbishment and completed another dry dock in March 2019. In 2019 March, the ship debuted with its water park and major renovation. Thanks to a major refurbishment in March 2019, Carnival Freedom features a Bonsai Sushi Express, a rebranded deli, a WaterWorks waterpark (with a 203-foot-long slide), an aerobics room within the gym and a new mini-golf course. The ship also received some general maintenance work in early 2021. On top of that, the 2,980-passenger vessel features all of the “Fun Ship 2.0” amenities, including Guy’s Burger Joint and BlueIguana Cantina.

This is a rusty old tub badly in need of routine cleaning, maintenance, and
repair. Some plumbing has been made with duct tape, sloppy paint applications and broken or worn items!Service is not what it should be.
Wow. Not good. We hope carnival is not letting the ships fall apart.
I believe that Carnival Freedom will be docked Fall 2023 for Updates and Repairs. So, hopefully it will be ready for an incredible 2024.
