Hey OGcod, hope it’s going well! I decided to buy the s90c in the end. Got the 55inch version. It’s plenty bright and it’s amazing. I managed to get it for £925 after discounts and cash back. I love LGs but the g3 was £1400 and I needed to get a stand too! So whilst I do appreciate the specific parts like the motion and processing, the price for a tv that trades blows just made more sense for me. I’m going to be a first time father soon so the money saved there helps ha :) I plan to step away from the tv review scene, as I know myself and it’ll just give me an itch to upgrade when I should just be saving the money You’ll see less of me, but I’ll still try to like your videos to help out Thank you again for spending your time to help me out previously. For the lg g3, cinema mode with dynamic tone mapping is a must in hdr content with super resolution low and sharpness 23. Black level 50, motion set to natural. Contrast 85, brightness 100, color auto, color density 60 to 65...native color gamut would be nice to compare as well to the qoled panels.
Most of dem don't know these setting on lg can improve the picture quality in (hdr) if they use super resolution high or medium make u see more detail in the image and turn off noise reduction and turn off mpeg noise reduction. An smooth gradation off and sharpness on 25.

@@consumerreview2k no haha , but I did notice a downgrade in brightness . I just bought the g3 . It was a noticeable difference going from the update the tv came with and new update 03.30.71 in terms of brigtness. And also I saw your comment under a video mention that the new update softened the picture a bit so I wondered.
Can you also try the AI Picture Pro. I watched a UA-camr experiment with this setting and it added more saturation to the colors without blowing them out which added to LGs 3d pop. Its a shame that everyone says to turn this feature off but will tell you to use Sonys live color because its not the creators intent but Sonys processing cant be turned off completely. Lasly, can you try LGs Color Adjust against Sonys Live Color? According to Classytech, they are equivalent settings and add extra saturation to the colors ( which honestly LG needs to use all its processing features to compete against QD-Oled).
Having owned the Samsung t.v.s, what do you think of the updates they have pushed out in comparison to LG and Sony?? Whats your level of trust, or have you noticed any degradation due to updates?
There have been an alarming amount of people reporting "blinking red light" TCON hardware failure indication for the A95L. Been keeping an eye out for issues on AVS forums and this is starting to concern me; have you experienced this on your set?
Again, I don't care for the A95L in blue scenes. On the S95C it looks as if there's a flash of brilliant, bright, blinding light separated from the blue. On the Sony it looks like a pale blue cyan across the board; supposedly due to better gradients of the color blue. I don't know why, but it doesn't look right to me. With the S95C it really looks like the light of a sun or star breaking through a blue sky/background, trying to escape.

It’s funny the G3 is the dimmer of the three, but it should be brighter. Did you change any settings, or maybe an update crippled the brightness?
I just want to see BFI modes on side by side if possible. Even if it’s just for 2 minutes with quick reaction. Non-live separate vid ok too. Thanks.
