These guys are pure genius! I´ve never seen a yurt look so modern, spacious and decluttered still holding all functions! Love the sleeping loft with the plants and the starwindow!
Omg! I'm from Central Asia (kazakh), and a lot of nomadic nations used to live in such houses (of course not so modern) and after watching this video I would like to go back to my ancestor's lifestyle)))
Love it. I almost bought a yurt, but it needed a lot of work to make it really livable and I had no partner or anyone to help with the build, so I opted out. Sort of regret that now. These younger millennials are really doing amazing things that weren't even dreamed of in my time on earth. Now, I'm a bit too old for that kind of project, but I can dream.
No Jenny never to old for adventures! Just have to find the comunity to help with it! I just recently read about a bunch of elder women building (getting built) their own "granniepods" to downsize and simplify their lifes!

This the best yurt design I gave seen so far. ..except for the ladder to the bedroom I would need stairs...this design is absolutely perfect and stylish!!
Also, you could have storage with a stairs. But honestly that's a project I would give to a carpenter. Too tricky to make one curved unless you know exactly how to do that.

Watching the bickering going on over absolutely nothing at all explains is why there are wars over more important issues. Truly, man (humans for those who want to be offended) is capable of so much more, but naw -let's fight. 🙄
@Templar Depends on what its for. Here, there is no important, healthy or even rational need. I'm getting old - and learning that fighting almost always begets a stunted inner person. I know that sounds artsy fartsy, particularly when you know that I come from a background of pure fighting. From childhood, to school, and beyond. When you've done enough of it you learn to say, hey, there's got to be a better way and that opens up new doors previously unimagined. At the same time, I completely believe in the necessity for self defence (in all its forms).
OHMYGOODNESS! I love these two dorky love birds! I can just hear the conversation that preceded the interview based upon how they keep looking at eachother.
I like how the square middle divides the round shape into different situations on it's sides as well as the top. There's also a very nice aesthetic aspect of those two opposing geometric shapes and how they contrast and strengthen each other. Very inspiring. Thank you.
Nice to see creative/intelligent up and comers doing their thing. The Yurt is incredible and shows a lot of forethought and execution. Best to both of you for following your dreams!

Amazing design! What a beautiful couple they are, they will never get bored til the end of their days with their creativity and drive to evolve and thrive.
I am going to build this one for my dad and mom as a house traditional with wooden poles on ceiling, thatch, and cement floor. The upper floor will have spiral stairs coming from the office area and the stairs underside will be the library shelves coz my mom loves to read. I am keeping the walls design as is but using metal instead. Thank you for the design so if you ever see ever, know that I stole it from you.
I would ad a makers shed, water filtration, solar/wind power for everything, water system for the plants, air vents for the bathroom, and something to blind the cupola on top. Maybe also make it possible to open it. The oven would have been better in the middle with long clay tunnels to spread the heat and use less wood. CO2 detector for safety... I guess I should also start a project... : )

And the only northern poisonous spider, the Northern Recluse, related to the black widow, very dangerous, and lives in woodpiles.
Not to mention a 🔥 potential. Tough escape if you were sleeping higher up in the loft.
Yah and I don't get building what is essentially an expensive tent on top of a foundation that can support a house.
And don’t build so close to greenery or your canvas will get moldy.
This is one of the most impressive tiny homes I've seen and I've watched ALOT of your videos. I could so see myself living somewhere like this!
They nailed the circular yurt space. NICE. Loved the middle bedroom loft.
Never heard "yurt' before but now I've heard it 1K times!
it s an ancient turkish word from middle asia which means country or a place to live
Yurt heard right
matma01 yerrrrrr
They are using the design of mongolian "ger" which is called yurt in other countries
@@Monart888 I actually expected to see Mongolian or at least Buryat or any other Middle Asia people, when i read the title
I know i'm outta subject but his eyes are the brightest blue i've Seen so far 💙
That must be why she gazes at him haha
My almost 2 yr. old granddaughter has eyes like his! She gets compliments everywhere we go! I bet he does too.
I noticed that as well and couldn't stop looking at his bright eyes lol.
Dude, look at Daniel Seavey’s, although his eyes ARE very blue. I have black eyes... typical asian
I changed plans in Amsterdam once, and noticed blue eyes like that are common there.
These guys are pure genius! I´ve never seen a yurt look so modern, spacious and decluttered still holding all functions! Love the sleeping loft with the plants and the starwindow!
That guy. This woman gives off a not so great vibe.
The dude seems super cool and like a fantastic builder.
Omg! I'm from Central Asia (kazakh), and a lot of nomadic nations used to live in such houses (of course not so modern) and after watching this video I would like to go back to my ancestor's lifestyle)))
Oghuz tribes
Да, наши юрты возвращаются
It's for sale
Kazakh is home of number 4 prostitute! Very nice
I lived next door in Kyrgyzstan for 3 years. I love this.
I think they’re corny and just super cute! They look happy and content. Very handsome couple.
Can we also take a second to appreciate how awesome this couple is? 2020 is sad af, & this video made me happier than I've been since like 2004
Yes, Jenny... we can still DREAM!! xo
Damn
No Jenny never to old for adventures! Just have to find the comunity to help with it!
I just recently read about a bunch of elder women building (getting built) their own "granniepods" to downsize and simplify their lifes!
@@sapodotroposo Do you have any idea how to communicate with those women. I'd sure like to connect with them.. Thx
Im 50 and building my second homestead...never quit dreaming!!!
They're an adorable couple. The way he looks at her is priceless and his excitement is contagious! Can't believe they're so quick to sell the yurt though. It's stunning!
How did u know?
@@multifandombish1855 ummm..did u listen to the video? Lol. They said at the end
@Debbie Kirby What a shame! I'm sure they had their reasons though.
Funny how people judge so much from acting. I saw them looking at each other to make sure they said their lines correctly. 🤷🏻♂️
Best, smartest, most beautiful and functional Yurt design I've ever seen! I love it!
I am kazakh and I am having fun watching this, it really makes me feel homesick and its bad my nomadic fellow people we are not appreciating our unique culture and Yurt anymore however it has market in the western society now!
Im from Kyrgyzstan and this yurt is definitely not like the one I remember 😅
Interesting how we hark back to some of historical designs and tweak them...how wonderful that we keep learning😄
I am from Turkey. and we use the same word for home "yurt" ;)
Nah...how can u say it has market when you rarely see people live in a yurt..it is exotic, yes...to live in it? Nahhh...
@@hakanulu34 👍
Another mind blower, the "Yurt" a whole new concept at least new to me. Never really heard of this building type. And for it to be a DIY makes it even more fabulous. They did a fantastic job.
But it was so expensive for a tent
Dude, these have been around for...EVER.
@@sandybrownonyt They didn't do their do diligence. I would NEVER have paid that much for a Yurt...even for one that big.
That is the BEST yurt I have ever seen in my entire short human life....even if it's the only yurt I've ever seen😂
My god🙄😁
Best when yurts are not made with prison slave labor.
This is what love looks like. I am happy for you two. I've been married for 72 years to my one and only darling. We started young at age 20. The rest is history. Don't waste a minute. Don't complicate the wedding. Keep it simple as in the end it doesn't matter. Just enjoy and stay in love as you are. My heart goes out to you two beautiful people.
Congratulations on 72 years!
So youre 92?
wow! 72 years! that’s awesome! i wish you and your partner the best of luck!
Thanks LC! Congrats on 72 years :)
Congratulations on your 72 years! What a blessing!
I love how in every video he asks to go inside, maybe the host is a vampire
😂🤣
Hàhhahaha
I think this in every video! so funny
Omg haha haha
Etiquette or being polite , ever heard of it?
By far the most impressive Yurt I've seen. The interior design is appealing and functional. Great job!
the loft is unbelievably majestic! also i never seen a yurt that has the smart layout and best way to make the use of the space
Modern...yes please. I’m so over the organic boho look. Wonderfully conceptualized and implemented for a stunning result. Good on ya!
I liked this for the "Do it Yurtself" pun. Absolutely solid gold.
This is the ultimate Yurt. Beautiful crafted and designed perfectly. Loving how everything flows well in the yurt.
The bed room got me WOW
Mind blowing yest simple.
I am so IN love with this build. The story of this yurt along with the beautiful light hearted nature of the couple just made this video spectacular to watch!
This the best yurt design I gave seen so far. ..except for the ladder to the bedroom I would need stairs...this design is absolutely perfect and stylish!!
I thought the same thing... stairs please
What do you mean? Ladders are vertical stairs
Also, you could have storage with a stairs. But honestly that's a project I would give to a carpenter. Too tricky to make one curved unless you know exactly how to do that.
This is my dream home! Since childhood, I always wanted a circular house. I have never seen a beautiful and efficient circular home. And You guys are a lovely couple. Enjoy your hard work.
That loft is “next level!” lol! It’s absolutely awesome! Great job! This whole loft is amazing!
I have seen all the episodes. This loft is the coolest sleeping space ever!!!!!!!!!
Forget the house that's a damn beautiful couple bless them❤
What a neat couple. He has a great energy dripping off him.
Energy? You mean it’s just how you feel
Rebecca A... Um sure. Did you really need to make a negative comment? Did you have a point?
Rebecca A Haha “energy... 🙄” Ya don’t ruin the “energy” Rebecca with your negative comments. We’re already limited to 30 amps of power, and can’t afford to restrict the “energy flow” anymore. 😉
At the same time, I completely believe in the necessity for self defence (in all its forms).
the way they constantly look at each other .. im crying
They are genuine.
Yeah must be nice
@@Joseph-11 hahaahaha saaaame but there was nobody XD
The couple is hilarious. I love the Yurt. They did an amazing job on the interior.
OHMYGOODNESS! I love these two dorky love birds! I can just hear the conversation that preceded the interview based upon how they keep looking at eachother.
Leaving after only six months? That breaks my heart!
House flippers.
Exaclly...so much effort for nothing.
They left allready? Why?
Come on? This whole thing is bullish!t...
I like how the square middle divides the round shape into different situations on it's sides as well as the top. There's also a very nice aesthetic aspect of those two opposing geometric shapes and how they contrast and strengthen each other. Very inspiring. Thank you.
I wasn't into yurts but right now, I'm sold
Me and you both lol
a good yurt isnt cheap and it wont last forever
Nice to see creative/intelligent up and comers doing their thing. The Yurt is incredible and shows a lot of forethought and execution. Best to both of you for following your dreams!
I think this one is my most favorite tiny house design, with a non-typical round shape that feels very welcoming.
This is my favorite channel and always gives me a smile. Such great people and down to earth thinking. Thank you for giving us such good content! Love from Germany!

THE MOST STUNNING YURT I HAVE EVER SEEN! GENIUS LAYOUT! LOVE HOW THEY RAISED THE BEDROOM IN THE CENTER , & PUT THE BATHROOM IN A ROOM UNDERNEATH! I WOULD SOOOOOOO LIVE IN THAT!
Tammy Vance why are you yellin

This is an AWESOME home!! This is ONE of the BEST DESIGNED Yurt-tiny homes that I've seen!!! Love it!
Oh My Gosh!! That bedroom is amazing!! It’s like something in a movie set in the future or something! Lol. I seriously don’t know how to describe it lol.
With the light coming in from the skylight it looks as if it’s floating on a cloud in heaven lol. I’ve never seen anything like it in my life!
The bed surrounded by the plants and the complete absence of any other furniture or lamps or anything just looks amazing! I am at a complete loss of words to describe it! My mouth is still wide open from being stunned at the site of this incredible bedroom or loft or platform lol I don’t even know what to call it lol. Magnificent!!
How about egress from bed?
How do you really feel? Lol... I'm right there with ya. It's fab.

I love how they can't keep their eyes off each other
his eyes match the blue of the room
Pretty evident they're mad for each other (especially him)
Dude probably tagged her while in college from interior decorating class and offered her a home. I garentee their not enjoying "Eden" in that bedroom surrounded by plants, especially after he complained about watering them😅

Such a beautiful space and NO TV that's great! Good for you guys!
This yurt looks so welcoming and comfortable to live in. Loft space looks magical. Absolutely fantastic job!
The sleeping loft is amazing. It's like sleeping in a night garden. Thank you for this video🙏
I would be afraid of getting up to pee and walking around half asleep and tripping over the edge though.
😱Seriously! You guys are not giving yourself enough credit. The level of imagination it took to design the layout you have and just looking for and leasing land is Nuts. This is by far the best functional realistic build I've seen. Definitely adding this to my DIY minimalist inspiration and will be sharing it with everyone. 🤗🤗🤗thank you for sharing. YES hiding my "minimalist" stuff beautify is also what i do best😂
This guy must be a host or something.
He speaks so well! He has the right expressions to the right lines. 😂
We’ve lived in a smaller yurt for 7 years now. We got the kit from Pacific Yurts.
Love it!
Our yurt is 200 sq. Ft. Our bathroom and kitchen is outside. Perfect Southern California living
A living space this size for a young couple is IMHO actually totally acceptable if not luxurious. The bathroom is HUGE.
Everything is huge. Kitchen, living room, bedroom, office, bathroom. More space than a house.
What a lovely young couple, and what a great space they created!!!
Yurt is super cute and functional… plus omg they love eachother… so sweet! ❤
My god, they r so adorable, I need this dedication in my life.
Aaaaand now I need a yurt.
Amazing design! What a beautiful couple they are, they will never get bored til the end of their days with their creativity and drive to evolve and thrive.
8:58 "being able to make a list of the lists I have to make". Best sentence I've ever heard.
With his beautiful eyes, and her beautiful hair, they’re gonna have beautiful children!
and her dimples and his enthusiasm for life... their children will be stunning and happy go lucky kids too
The children will need a nose and mouth too🙂

By far the most incredible design in a Yurt I've ever seen. You seriously have a talent for it and can't wait to see your next design in a Tiny Home.
Absolutely...get cracking designer person... brilliant ideas n more $$$
Yeah, start a project, you have good ideas.
Yes good ideas. I would also consider adding a deck area for outside grilling, etc.
𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐑𝐞𝐝𝐑𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐧 ideally make the main platform a larger diameter than the yurt.
Wonderful list for them
Yes, you posted again, I'm happy now
Glad we could put a smile on your face! :)
That was so beautifully done in the center. They are a very talented couple & please keep us updated on their next project if they sell their present home.
