The best years of my life spent in this city. I was there from 1999-2003 as a Greek student at NTU. I will never forget it. When I left the construction of the tram was still on. I used to walk around the city centre every day, I miss Nottingham a lot! Thanks for sharing!
Im from Spain. I used to spend.July there. I lived there in Middleton Boulevard near Wallaton Park. Then I moved to Rise Park. These were one of my best experienes. I love Nottingham.
Watched this video of my beloved hometown from my reluctant current home in Reno, NV USA. I am so homesick, and watching this transported me home for five minutes. Thank you.
@@amyroberts127 that’s not a forever thing though is it? Plus if you hate it that much your husband should leave with you and support you 👍 if he won’t you should just leave and come and stay with me 😅
When was this taken? My dad is Is the man riding the bike outside primark, he sadly past away December 28th so seeing this video made me cry a lot, but it was lovely to see him again! 💔💚
Lived here in 2013-2016. Had a flat on Upper College St. just near the city centre. I definitely miss it. A lovely place to live in and lovely people to meet and know.
I lived there years ago and had my phd from the university of Nottingham. I made lots of friends, and as a muslim woman I can surly say it’s a beautiful city and its people are very friendly and welcoming
Hi I'm in Islamabad Pakistan these days I lived in Nottingham for 5 years in believe me guys I love the Great Britain n Nottingham more than my home country Pakistan such nice place n people
thanks for posting this. I was brought up in Nottingham but haven't been back for 40 years. Interesting to see what has changed and what is the same. The Council House lions are still there!
Been there a few times (love it) I'm allways shocked by how many people there are, never seen so many people in one place, and love the town square and the buskers ect.
I'm born and bred in Nottingham and I have definitely seen a serious decline over the years. The 80s and 90s where the city centre was booming and fun but now it just doesn't look that great anymore but I can think of 20 to 30 UK towns/cities worse than Nottingham so I guess I can't complain too much about it
Nottingham is pretty cool I grew up in a village just outside Nottingham (lowdham) and go to college there now it's pretty good in terms of stuff to do
Hi, great video! We're producing a video on our favourite property hotspots in the UK and would love to use a few of your shots to showcase Nottingham with, would you be okay with this? We'll provide credit of course!
The city centre looks cleaner than what is does now, the area around John lewis and the Victoria Centre is absolutely filthy and far too covered in chewing gum everywhere
Dismal , depressing dump. No regrets moving to San Diego 25 years ago. But I still have wonderful memories of living in the dismal depressing dump. . Mainly because I like being dismal and depressed. Enter smiley emoji. !!
Hi I am a researcher from an Australian production company, my producer would be interested in using your footage for an upcoming documentary, if you are interested please reply with a contact email, thank you

Hey, if your so homesick and you hate your current location then why don’t you come back to the uk?
@@jasonpikachu7091 sadly because my husband is American and the UK government is so anti-immigration, I am stuck here 5000 miles away.
