Great video Jim, thanks for sharing. I tried the 'Gauging Gadgets' video on this multiple times and never got the compass to calibrate. Tried your tutorial and nailed it 1st time... much appreciated.

What does the arrow mean on the ABC sensor?

Good question - depending on your usage you may need to calibrate the electronic compass, but out of box you probably won't ever need to in normal situations. Back in the day, everytime you swapped batteries, the manual would indicate for you to calibrate, but they improved things since.

What does the arrow pointing to the right on the display indicate?

I think it means that the barometer is stable. Not falling or rising. But If it’s on an angle upwards or downwards then that is the trend.

WTS!? I cannot seem to get this movement right... it just doesn't calibrate. My neighbor gives me very strange looks as she watches me, in my car out on the driveway, performing some kind of vehicle Tai-Chi; I understand her confusion when said "Tai-Chi" does not seem to "help", and all she must see then is me losing my shit in the car. They no longer say "Good morning" to me... Thanks Garmin.

Sets the compass to use electronic-sensor data only (On), a combination of GPS and electronic-sensor data when moving (Auto), or GPS data only (Off).
