Thank you for sharing this! I broke my leg 6 months ago when my baby was only 8 months old. He was easy to take care of then and would stay put for me. We were able to still bond while I was bedridden. Few months later he only wanted to be with people who could walk or with daddy. I was so so triggered by this and still am a little bit as I’m still recovering and relearning how to walk. What I have learned in this season is that hubby and I divided and conquered the workload. Mommy does the reading, changing, bedtime routine & daddy rocks him, sings to him, reminds him that he’s safe, & lays him down to sleep. It’s a forced lesson we both have learned and experienced. Regardless of how trying this season has been I’ve got the best teammate by my side and my toddler favoring one over the other is just a phase ❤ not just bc I can’t walk lol
