  • The stock platter of the Reloop SPiN is not really stabile. If you are heavy handed or do fast cuts it's always better to have a stablile platter.
The platter stabilizer ring from Portablism Gear can help here.

How to solve the problem of the low volume of the aux signal and the inability to adjust the volume of vinyl. Using different sources (BT, line) you can hear the beat a little and the disc a few times louder and this is a big problem. I have had Reloop Spin for a week and it prevents me from comfortable use because I can't hear the beat, the disc is too loud and there is no way to adjust it.
    Please help.

Basically, you put a new fader in there and use the old fader on the other slot - only using the red connection rather than the default one. It turns the other slider into a balance fader
The cut on the stock fader is so large that you'll probably want to upgrade your fader anyway. I grabbed an Innofader for the spin which comes with a cable that you're supposed to use for the volume/balance side, but reports are that you don't need the extra cable. The Jesse Dean fader is another option. It's a little pricier, but easier to adjust the cut when it's installed.

Yes using the stock fader in the spare slot works well to fix the volume issue, but if you're like me and have big hands then you're going to constantly knock the volume fader with your wrist. For me it got so annoying that I had to take the fader back out and look for a different solution. What ended up working for me was another mod I came across to increase the aux/bluetooth volume where you replace 2 of the resistors with 47 ohm 1/4watt ones (link below). It's pretty easy to do if you've done soldering before and will double the aux/bluetooth volume. Otherwise any electronic repair store can do it for you.

If anyone can help, I'm new to the Spin, I purchased a used one from ebay. Is there supposed to be a thick grease packed in at the bottom of the spindle? I noticed my platter was wet around the eclip with a dark oil. When I pulled the platter up I can see there is a dark grease packed in around the base of the spindle. I'm just not sure if it's supposed to be there or not, can't find anything online that says anything about that. It definitely doesn't seem right because there seems to be an excess there.

Do not worry, the grease at the point described is normal.

Is this okay to use if I already have a Solid Cuts platter? Or unnecessary?
