I love the fact you asked about his old Devon hendryx era music, almost no interviewers bring up the genius of his old music and I’ve been wanting to hear more of jpegmafias own opinion of his old stuff real cool stuff great job to the interviewer.
I was at the show in Manchester, and that cheering mid interview was probably the crowd cheering watching someone play clash of clans before the opener, shit was hilarious
One of the few interviews that asks about his old Devon Hendryx stuff, hopefully THE GHOST~POP TAPE remaster is released sooner than later it’s been an incredibly cathartic album for me
i remember one time a bunch of college kids booked him and were horribly unprepared. i actually had to tell one of them to move their computer because i could tell it was a bad idea to leave it out. he showed up and they asked him to stand on a table. at one point his whole ass leg busted through the folding table and he just starts hysterically laughing
bro remastered only 80% of the songs and thats actually kinda sad bc he didnt remastered ODB which is one of my fav songs off the album and the audio issues are ASS
I really wish Peggy would give more respect to his Devon Hendryx era. JOECHILLWORLD remasters or even remakes of things like Sabbath school or Montebello high school prom would be insane. Peggy is super humble about his talent, but I think he undercuts himself, especially his old music.
Rumour has it that one time Oloff was sat next to Jar Jar Binks on a flight. Jar Jar kept kicking the chair in front of him and generally being obnoxious, nobody knew what to do. Eventually one of the flight attendants came over and asked Oloff if he would perform one of his songs to calm Jar Jar down, and when Oloff began rapping the first verse to Doing It Stealthy, Jar Jar immediately relaxed. To this day the two are still close friends.

old peggy was incredible. you're on another level if you're bumping project birdy, darkskin manson or communist slow jams
even he thinks darkskin manson is ass lmao
@@TheGOAT-j9u I would almost agree if joechillworld, tgpt, and DCSS didnt exist, but ends to the means is one of my favorite songs
CSJ is probably my Top 2 favs of his.

Nahhhhhh if we talking about God of samples, Slauson Malone takes that crown. I'm sorry.
