- What about collecting some grass and helping someone to bring some cows back to their place, and then fighting Satan with a god-like cybernetic armor himself right after in the middle of a volcano just to go across a mountain to go to another town casually? Huh? - ... - ... So? - Deal
it just makes me a little sad realizing the diversity of enemies used in the first game was so much broader compared to the sequels where it ends up being rinse and repeat after 30% through the game (Jak2) and 10% (Jak3) as well.
Honestly that’s my complaint with the sequels as much as I love them they fail to me at least to capture the same magic this game had and even till this day no game has ever recaptured the vibe and atmosphere this game had
This will be lengthy, but I always wanted the Fallen Warrior that lost to Klaww to have a bigger role as I genuinely felt bad for him. I really wanted this guy to redeem himself. My idea if a remake happens: If you complete the warrior's quest, he will help Jak in the Klaww boss fight. During the 3rd phase when Klaww starts going all out with his cannon, a cutscene will play. Klaww will charge up and in the distance you hear a big "HEY!!" And it'll show the warrior, in a new armor he made using the precursor orbs you gave him. "KID, I'LL DISTRACT HIM. FOCUS ON GETTING TO THAT YELLOW ECO" The warrior will leap onto Klaww and hang for his dear life. Klaww will be distracted and unable to shoot at you as he tries to shake him off. Jak will be able to cross the bridge to get to the eco much easier now. When you reach the yellow eco, the warrior will hold onto Klaww by his throat and expose his weak point "SHOOT NOW, KID" When successfully shot, Klaww will stumble and the warrior will say "Thank you for showing me what it means to be a hero again" He will wink to Jak and Daxter and using all his might, pulls Klaww down into the lava, sacrificing himself to defeat Klaww once and for all. The Warrior has now got his redemption and conquered his fear Post game upon returning to the blue sages village, a big precursor statue of the warrior will be in place of Kira's machine, honoring him like he always wanted
Why wasn't this the final battle theme? Should have been swapped. This be the final battle theme and the Gol and Maia final battle theme be Klaww's theme.
This is one of the Pre-console version ones that actually sounds worse than what’s in the game, some of the instruments sound muffled and there is also a lack of Dynamics, also slightly too much Reverb as well.
To me, this is the first time you realize Jak and Daxter really are heroes
I have a head canon that Daxter was guiding Jak on how to survive many of the obstacles in Jak 1, with the bosses being the more noteworthy examples.
Her: "why is he not texting me"
The situation he's in:
😭😭😭
this soundtrack gives me vibes from Jak 2
Well they both have the same composers
They sampled this for mountain temple thats why
This soundtrack gives me more N.Brio vibes

Weird to hear how many sound assets even from the original game (and crash games) have been used throughout the original trilogy
One of my favorite songs it gives me goosebumps
Then you can see my intro uwu
What if we kissed at the Klaww Battle
I would die happy my friend, this music brings joy to my soul and I feel as if your soul would meld with that joy.
Shit, whats good
I'm down for that >:)
Pray he don't fire dem boulders in the middle of all that.
Every single song track is unique and very awesome

I've played the game a hundred times and never realised this is the same track as the end credits one
Pretty cool boss theme to this day.
On a side note, If Klaww had a speaking voice, I imagined him being voiced by Brad Garrett in my head.
This is really cool man, thanks allot for doing this!
The rhythm here is absolutely amazing

1:07 to 1:32 gives me hype in this fight every time
my guessing they are using gong drum for this right? or a tympani tuned up to an d sharp
Klaww Battle - Jak and Daxter The Precursor Legacy Extended Version
Ogre Battle - Jak and Daxter The Cut Adventure
Same Sound Crash Bandicoot

That’s because klawww is a Glorious General of the lurkers.
I like this too...
I do my 2 minute plank to this song
How romantic

Sound like halo
