Many thanks for the video, the only problem is that I have done what you have done several times and cannot find the 5 pound note, not even the pound coin?????
Hi we have a Hoover dynamic with e03 but all pipe work is clear could it be the pressure chamber on the bottom of the drum sending the wrong signal while emptying a draining and spinning bit stuck had engineer out 3 times this morning he changed the control panel left and still the same regards Marie
I had putt one of those really thick tufted bath mats in the machine along with duvet covers etc so thought it more likely that the load was unbalanced...had fun draining the machine anyway! I always wondered what the little door was for!
Many thanks! Worked a treat!! 👍🏻👌🏻Mine design was a bit different but unscrewed that main plug and had a lot of rubbish in there. No more error. Thanks for taking the time to do this. Internet is only brilliant because if people like you.
It's blockage or failed drain pump. If you remove the filter as seen in the video, then start the machine on a drain cycle only you will see the pump kick into life. If this isn't the case a new drain pump would be required. £25 max plus your local engineers fee
Hi I’ve cleaned filter several times and drained etc and checked for blockages...done the drain pump check thing as mentioned above....still comes up E03 after reassembly....any more ideas what could it be? I can go online and purchase a new drain pump with filter body for £18 and a pressure switch for £16. Drain hose also split so I can buy new one for £10...any help appreciated
Here u go fiver for ya for your labour 😆 nice bit of advice great job fella...& say hello & byeb👋 thanks for uploading you saved me £300 squid hahah & get some1 to do your video poor camera position...👍
Hi , I have the same issue e03 , cleaning the filter but not help , same issue using cold water , I noticed the time on the screen not running (stuck) and can hear the pump working , later I can see e03 on the screen, please any idea or advice
@Nuzat Shah Hello Nuzat , I solved "e03 error" by change the heating element, it is a bit strange Because as the manual e03 related to the pump and filter , hope this can help everyone reading my comment
Dont be fooled into thinking an E03 error is just pump or filter it isn't. E03 can be caused by more factors than the pump. Hoover machines can pump themselves out completely and then flash up an E03 error. If you have that issue try running the machine on a cold wash and if that program works properly then the issue will be either the heater or the heater thermostat. Regards Simon
incorrect simon... E03 is failure to empty the water. The pump is activated but if the water pressure switch detects water after the 2 min time out e03 will show. but thanks for the feedback. I'm happy to show heater failures and error codes ;)
Thank you for your input. I'm not in the habit of posting inaccurate information. This is for the benefit of those people who have a Hoover machine with this problem and yet do not have an issue with the pump, filter or pressure switch yet still receive the E03 error mid cycle. Our experience has shown that on "some" machines that flagged up E03 code DID NOT do so when using a cold wash. The fault only occured when using heated washes. Simply changing the heater and thermostat (the element isn't necessary but prudent for some if the age and condition dictates) resolved the fault and no further error codes were observed. We have all the error codes but thank you for your generosity.
ok so thank you @5oundbyte for the tip .... did everything in the video (so thanks @mwgappliancerepairmwgappli7223) but even with a clean system still getting E03 , then I thought I'd try the cold wash trick and yes confirmed no issues. So, I replaced the heater (came with thermostat) from ebay and now everything runs just how it should! Thank you!
@@ratcomuk My absolute pleasure to have been able to help. E03 can cause a headache for many an engineer who doesn't fully understand all its causes. Hope the machine continues to give you excellent performance. Thank you for taking the time to post feedback. Regards Simon

Cesar Castillo 😂😂😂
I think this may be my favourite UA-cam comment. Although that’s a pretty low bar.
Ha ha!!
Open it for 5 days and you will be able to find £5 note lol
Great video but unfortunately I can't open the filter cover
Thanks for this, my one doesn’t have a pipe so now my kitchen floor has had a clean. 😂😂
I did the same but I checked the drainage pipe under the sink and it was clogged up so I cleaned it out and now my washer is working again whoohii
This is brilliant!!!! I literli had a fiver fall out mine too and got so excited only to realise it was part of a torn fiver but thank u for thid vid!
Did this today and found £1.35 but its still not completing a wash. Still error E03.
The issue I've got is the white screw cap for the filter has come apart from the actual filter, so not sure what to do!
I've tried this, but the filter part won't come out. Any advice? I can't even screw it back in now :(
Im having the same problem.. Very annoying!
@@acbee8559 I found out why. There was something stopping it. It turned out to be a pen lol 😆 Be careful. Lots of water comes out!
Excellent video. it sorted my washing machine in 5 mins
What if it keeps doing it. I washed an old rug. And fluff keeps going on my washing even after I have cleaned filter 10 times
