I am 38 and my skin is pretty "normal" with no dryness or particular oily areas. I do have early signs of aging like fine lines/texture, as well as some sun damage and REDNESS!
I don't use fake tan, but I get very tan naturally in the summer as I have an olive undertone so my face is often a LOT lighter than my body, because I keep my face very well protected to keep my melasma under control and signs of aging at bay!

I think this is exactly the type of video I find the most useful. I found myself really wasting away my coin with bulk buying makeup, decluttering my collection, and doing it all over again. I really just want a core group of amazing products! I'm finally at a point where I don't have many holes in what I want in my collection though I'm still always curious what others consider as their most reliable and go to products

I find out what I really love when I travel and have to pack! That's when I see what makeup I can't live without!
I just did a real life version of this when I went on holiday for two weeks. I'm pretty sure I had more than 20 (lipsticks were my downfall) but getting it down to two foundations, two blushes, two bronzers, three Eyes to Mesmerise colours and a concealer was hard! I failed, I had two concealers (one was the Nars Soft Matte for blemishes, to be fair) and I also had a tinted moisturiser in there, but I managed!
But I'm not going to mention how many eyeliners I took. That's where I draw the line. They're tiny, they hurt no one.
I pretty much only have one or two items per category...except for lipstick. Having a large, fun lipstick collection is where I find joy.
This is amazing! I just put up a video yesterday about how I went to the drug store, mind you, and paid nearly $100 for 4 beauty products that I would in the past have paid $40 tops! I was blown away, $20 a piece for drugstore? And so I said that's it! I could have purchased a beautiful higher end product for this! I am going to keep using what I have, mostly higher end foundations and my skin care which is expensive... but unless it's something I HAVE to have, I'm not going to cave to all these new "affordable" drug store releases.
The Nars Orgasm on the Beach blush palette is discounted on Nordstrom Rack I bought it when it released but if you didn’t pick it up you deserve it ❤️

I just found Sophia not too long ago and I really enjoy her. She’s got a great personality and that’s important to me. I am not a UA-camr (unless you count the reviews I do in my head while putting on my makeup) but have a UA-cam size collection. 😆 I guess it’s my passion that fuels my hobby/collecting. Can you do a GRWM using nothing new and do this makeup?? So pretty!! Unless you've already done it! I have trouble using my PM palette on a regular basis because I feel like it's too much. Don't get me wrong I'm not afraid of sparkle but your makeup looks so pretty and wearable.

I love this collab video!! This video is helpful for ppl that don’t want so much makeup. My makeup collection is smaller then a UA-camr but more then average person. Eyeshadow palettes, blushes, and highlighters is products I have a lot of. With foundations I always have a matte and a more satin one. I have oily skin but in winter mths it’s more normal. Powders I have just a few. I have two favorites. Bronzers I can get it down to one. I have my most favorite that I repurchase a lot.
I will have to try the pillow talk mascara- I have tried her Legendary Lashes and I loved it! Soft fluttery lashes is what I love and it delivers. I never got the Hourglass palate- was dying to try it but it was too deep for my fair skin and the others had repeat powders I already had so had to pass on it. I love this type of video because aren’t we all trying to spend a little less and make use of what we already have and love? Great video Charlotte❤

If anyone is looking for the NARS cheek palette, it is on sale for $34.97 at Nordstrom Rack🥳
I definitely agree on the Hourglass palette especially for someone with warmer skintone, any one of Lisa Eldridge velvet lipsticks really look good and feel great, Charlotte Tilburys Easy Eye or Super Eye palettes are great. You should do one of these videos for travel and limit it to 12 or 15 products.

I love my motherships (I have 5) and I'm actually a bit disappointed by Mothership X. It's not a BAD palette, but I seem to only get one or two looks out of it so if I could only have one (or two) palettes I def wouldn't pick that one. I'd probably go for Divine Rose II for party and ND's Glam for every day.

Re the Hourglass face palette, they were recalled and I was led to believe it was so they could be taken out of their limited edition cases and placed in another one. I love my Elephant one - it is gorgeous: thanks for the recommendation ❤

No! As I only had 20 spaces I skipped brows as I have mine laminated I rarely need to do much to them! That would be tricky as there are several products in each category and only the one face 😅

Love most of these, although I can’t seem to use the Huda concealer without it creasing or coming off! I’m not sure what I am doing wrong as this does not happen with the Nars, Pat McGrath or Shiseido :(

I never bought anything from Tom Ford as they are far too expensive for me, but SPF50 is pretty high for a foundation as most are 15-20 or 30 if anything. Have you tested if it has flashback btw, like is it really bad?
I used spf 20-30 ones without issue so just wondering how the tom ford one fairs

I could manage with one bronzer, blush ( be still my beating heart) I could pick a couple and a palette, but for the love of all that is holy my anxiety hit the roof when you got to lipsticks, and I didn't want to play this game anymore! 4 lipsticks? I had to check my lipstick drawer to make sure they were all snug in their beds, 4! Not on your nelly!

One of my absolute favourites, but this wasn't a favourites video and therefore the thought process was different! I made choices that were very versatile, I could wear very often and were very different to the others x

Hello! I'm a cream-cheek-product fan and I'm reaching out for help with... powders! After my glowy base and cream bronzer is applied, I find it so awkward to then blend a powder blush on top! I assume brush type makes a difference? Can you do an in-depth powder blush on top of a cream base tutorial with brush options? Would love that. Keep up the great videos! 💗
You have to set foundation with powder first.
Which cream bronzer you use is important! It needs to set down otherwise it will definitely be trickier to apply powders on top! My favourite is the Charlotte Tilbury x

Should have done a high-end and drugstore version of this video I can't afford to spend that much money on make up and with you saying that the other girls channel is all about luxury there's no point in going over to that channel she probably won't review anything the average Joe like me can afford to buy 😔
