I think It's purely based on age who's gonna live. If you fall into working age say below 40yrs of age. Buying flat in city is best. If you're 50+ age then buying a plot at city outer is good.

To all trying to buy old flats, pls check if any ceiling leakage is there. No one would tell anything on that. Only the buyer would need to suffer if he buys flats with ceiling leakage. Ceiling leakage also creates bad smell and that would not be noticed and the smell is overrides the painting smell. pls be careful on that

Few grams of gold, depends on which class you are. 4. SIP for retirement plan or investment. You can choose any format like stocks, NPS, Mutual funds, postal etc. 5. Whatever income you got you have take it to savings as your first spending like SB FD, Mutual Funds, Gold chits, PO Schemes, SIPs, etc., apart from your livelihood and happiness, if doesn't have LOANS. 2. If you have Loans, you have to think first in what ever ways and means to close the LOANS quickly, after your livelihood and happiness with small sacrifices. 3. Better try to buy everything after savings and avoiding Loans. Try to do it, we will succeed. We have done it. 👍
Hi sis .. good you did this video..many of them will be benefited..lots of cons than pros..better to go for a old flat or house or a rent house..becoz most cant afford and too much hidden charges from builder and bank side.. somehow by Gods grace ,you are managing but all cant do..i prefer to stay in a rent house and then start a small cap mutual fund for 15 years ..which will give 1 crore with an interest of 15%..builders are experiencef in marketing to sell a flat..the managers are trained well and paid well with incentives if they catch hold of a customer to book the flat..
Also as you said if we buy a house ,we can stay without rent but it's not a very good appreciating asset as it doesn't beat inflation.. depends on area also..the payment is too much and UDS is negligible for high rise community apartments.. I think after 50 years ,it has to be demolished also.. your first decision of buying a old flat was correct..you would have saved many lakhs..I think that broker has insulted a lot ...that's why your family thought this apparment is best.. sorry if I hurted you..I felt how much you people struggled, that's why I told..
You are right and yes we are doing SIP in MF. I have asked my husband to take care of it. Before 5 years we didnt have much financial knowledge so our wish to own a house become a life long financial commitment. Hopefuly this awareness will impact in next 5 years.

I know it is emotional to get into this need of own house. Any new buyers want and accumulate min 30% of flat rate, then go for loan. Becusee next 10-12 years you are trapped with emi even though you try to close early. Note I paid off my flat in 7 years, what I learned is no more emi or loan. Debt free life is freedom

If u have home via parents dont go and buy anything new.. Be in rental and invest money later on you can go whereever u want

Hi sis .. good you did this video..many of them will be benefited..lots of cons than pros..better to go for a old flat or house or a rent house..becoz most cant afford and too much hidden charges from builder and bank side.. somehow by Gods grace ,you are managing but all cant do..i prefer to stay in a rent house and then start a small cap mutual fund for 15 years ..which will give 1 crore with an interest of 15%..builders are experiencef in marketing to sell a flat..the managers are trained well and paid well with incentives if they catch hold of a customer to book the flat..
Also as you said if we buy a house ,we can stay without rent but it's not a very good appreciating asset as it doesn't beat inflation.. depends on area also..the payment is too much and UDS is negligible for high rise community apartments.. I think after 50 years ,it has to be demolished also.. your first decision of buying a old flat was correct..you would have saved many lakhs..I think that broker has insulted a lot ...that's why your family thought this apparment is best.. sorry if I hurted you..I felt how much you people struggled, that's why I told..
You are right and yes we are doing SIP in MF. I have asked my husband to take care of it. Before 5 years we didnt have much financial knowledge so our wish to own a house become a life long financial commitment. Hopefuly this awareness will impact in next 5 years.

I know it is emotional to get into this need of own house. Any new buyers want and accumulate min 30% of flat rate, then go for loan. Becusee next 10-12 years you are trapped with emi even though you try to close early. Note I paid off my flat in 7 years, what I learned is no more emi or loan. Debt free life is freedom
