Simple rope halter

Simple halter from a rope. I slip the rope around the neck, next to jaw bone, and I use a slip or loop knot so I can keep slack in it. You don’t want to choke the horse. I then turn the rope over on itself, slide the opening over the muzzle, and it’s ready for a temporary halter. You’ll want a 10’ or longer rope. Easy!

Wtn that’s a small rope and flexible just use a regular rope put on the horse like you are roping it, then just slide it back through the loop doing a slip not like you did around the nose too
