- To say that going to Pennhurst as a disabled person is a challenge would be an understatement. Considering this place was once home to physically disabled people, I expected to be able to partake in more activities. However, the people who work there genuinely care and will do all they can to accomodate your needs.
Why do you burden others with your choice to sit and roll instead of pushing thru the pain of standing on your feet? It's disrespectful towards others. Very selfish.
