26:40 Oouuhh .. so sad that they showed the reeperbahn while most clubs where still closed ...... it was _WAY_ to dark. ;) Greetings from northern germany here.... i grew up and lived in hamburg for over 40 years. ;)
Although living in HH for 15 years, I never visited the Miniatur Wunderland. But then I moved back to my hometown and came back for a visit to show my daughter where she was born. We experienced the MW and were blown away!!! This is AWESOME!!! The BEST!!! I just can recommend a visit to Hamburg's Miniatur Wunderland. Check it out!!
13:40 My hometown. 13:54 the place where i spend my teen years. 14:15 A count's family lives on the island and the castle is also a popular vacation spot for the Swedish royal family. However, large parts of the island are open to tourism. Lake Constance is also called the german caribbean, best place to live :D
Hello. It's a shame that only the south of Germany is shown in the big cities of Germany. Meanwhile, in the north there are also many beautiful sights, just in much smaller cities. I'll name a few of these cities: Marburg, Bückeburg (still has a prince), Hanover is bigger but also has a lot of charm (Christmas market), Emden, Schleswig, Lübeck and Flensburg and many more. Germany also has lots of beaches in East Frisia, North Frisia and on the Baltic Sea. If you want to see more, search for these cities to find videos. Greetings from Germany
At 9:47 there is a mistake! There we see anything but the Rhine River Valley. We see the Cochem castle on a hill high above the picturesque city of Cochem on Moselle. And the River valley is not that of the Rhine, but that of the Moselle. The Moselle River is a tributary of the Rhine, and vastly slender than the mighty Rhine. But of course this valley is imposing too. By the way, the Moselle River flows into the Rhine River in the watchable city of Koblenz, what likewise is lovely to see.
its the Mosel river (dont use those from the French copied wrong English naming. I know most people are lemmings and dont know much but there are many cases in which one should NOT just copy-paste namings from other languages. Also historically just WRONG and misleading is 'Charlemagne'. There was no guy with this name. His name was 'Karl der Grosse' (latinized Karolus Magnus) and thats exactly how all other languages, artifacts, architecture, documents etc. refer to him. There was NO 'Charles'. Thats just fake history. In the case of the Mosel its just better to keep the German naming. Its not like totally different languages to English where a translation/Englishisation makes sense (like for instance the name Tutankhamun instead of using the dead old ancient Egypt name (which is as pronounciation anyway unknown) or Glyphs - or to latinize Cyrillic names etc.
apart from that the 'oldest city' is debated also 'city' itself is debatable. You have in reality much older 'cities' like the Celtic Heuneburg site in Baden Wuertemberg (2500 years old, already mentioned from ancient chronists like Herodotus). And if one talks about kind of settlements then you have the about 400000 year old Bilzingsleben structures - created even not by modern humans (homo sapiens) but Homo Erectus! But back to Trier: like in many other cases I also was happy if such cities were mentioned but also in general if a bit more infos were given. Not just 'very old' and stuff. I want that everyone LEARNS to add to Trier that it also was for some time one of 4 capitals of the classic Roman Empire (the most Northern one) and in the case of Cologne not always only the Cathedral is mentioned but also the very unique collection of the much older high Romanic Churches (a collection of such high old churches is rare/unique). And I still wait for Berlin when the Brandenburger Gate is mentioned that people tell that you basically stand in the front of the Acropolis in Athens, because that was not only the role model but from size, general appearance and function thats exactly that. That sounds a bit more interesting as the usual bla bla. And in castle lists is permanently the Frankenstein castle missed (which is not the most famous and also its partly a ruin but from the storytelling it should not be missed, since there lived a real Frankenstein dynasty for centuries - and a real alchemist searching for the Elixir of life - and those inspired Mary Shelby to write her famous novel 'Frankenstein' when she traveled through that region (its in the state of Hessen).
The towns and sights shown are quite nice and match what I would expect from a list of the pretty sights. With some major Misses. Like Nuremburg, Passau, Luebeck and also wonderful smaller cities like Wernigerode, Goslar and Quedlinburg (which are close to one another as well). Plus the coast and the Islands were missed as well. As was Freiburg and the Black Forest or the Harz Mountains (the National Park next to the smaller towns I mentioned before). I do believe the whole video was not just AI narrated, but also AI compiled. But a whole other point: You are sitting there in a winter jacket and with a woolen hat on. That to me as a German would suggest it must be something below 8 °C in your room? 😀Does that actually happen in Venezuela?!
Totally agree here. They missed the whole northern part and most of the eastern part like Mecklemburg Vorpommern /Mecklemburgische Seenplatte / Friesland / Ostfriesland / Nordseeinseln / Ostsee.
yeah like it is not following a short route but a list connecting those spots, mostly towns, with a weird route missing many real nature "wonders" like the mudflats. There are higher regions in Venezuela where especially in winter you might get quite cold temperatures.
It's funny and sad how many people sometimes forget how beautiful their own country is. Videos like these remind us that we actually have it pretty good right now, yet we still complain. When seen in the right light and perspective, every place is unique and has its own wonders. You just don't notice them if you take everything for granted or have gotten too used to them. Sometimes, it takes the eyes of a stranger to see the bigger picture instead of the small bubble we call 'our world.'
Our museum culture is crazy indeed. No joke we even have a bread museum 😅. Ok i mean considering we have over 3200 different kinds/types of bread it earned it's reason of existence i guess 😊. Great video 😊
There are different river cruises available on for example the Rhine, the Danube through among others Germany and other countries they run through and most river cruises last for a minimum of 6/7 days and they visit different cities along the rivers. But you also have river cruises on other rivers through Europe like for insance the Meuse.
I come from Germany, and this country still has so much to offer. But as a tip, you shouldn't speak into the running video, you take away hints and explanations that you overhear, then please take a break and you won't miss anything. And one more hint in case you are not aware of it. We always jokingly say that Germany has more castles than McDonald's restaurants in the USA, with over 25,000. But it really is true.
let here speak. its a reaction video. she is really not overly chatty and if you want no speak then look for the original video. without reaction a reaction video is stupid and btw. could be taken more likely out. that comparison castles vs. mcdonalds is a typical liken anecdotic one but much more important is that Germany has most castles in the world and even much more if one knows that Germany was in the past also the heart/base of the Holy Roman Empire which have additionally created much more castles by Germans - also for instance the biggest one of the world which is now in Poland (Marienburg/Malborg castle - once the seat of the German/Teutonic Order). the longest castle in the world is btw. Burghausen in Germany (over 1km long). And what all castles videos permanently miss is the Frankenstein castle, not he biggest or most beautiful castle but there lived a real Frankenstein dynasty for many centuries as well as a real alchemist searching for the elixir of life. That inspired Mary Shelby for her famous novel 'Frankenstein'. Germany has also due to its past as Holy Roman Empire most of the tallest churches in the world, most cities in Europe (built at the medieval high time when you had a phase where most cities were created (it was the highest city building period of the entire history of the human race). Its also worth to know that if you stand in front of the Brandenburger Tor/Brandenburg Gate in Berlin that you stand basically in front of the 2500 years old Acropolis of Athens, because that was the role model and it was like that role model also built as main gate (out of many). Also the Aachen Cathedral/Aachen should be mentioned. After the fall of the classic Roman Empire you had basically two empires following. At first the Germanic Frankish E,mpire with Karl der Grosse (Father of Europe - wrongly named Charlemagne) who had Aachen as hit main seat (even being a travel king/emperor). That Frankish Empire split and the Western part became then France why it has this name - and the same name as Frankfurt, Franken/Bavaria, Frankenstein etc... all refer to that Germanic tribe confederation empire. And the Eastern Frankish and middle part became then the kingdom of Germany and the Holy Roman Empire (which included also huge parts of Italy (especially North and Rome/Papal states) and most neighbor countries/regions). And the connection to the Pope between Emperor and Pope power defined at medieval time most of European history. All renaissances, reforms etc. also took place within this and the former Frankish Empire, just like most innovation, most industry, most of everything. Here was and still is also most of the European population. And because of that also Italy (with the old Roman but also with the connection to the Holy Roman Empire) and Germany have most UNESCO world heritage sites of the planet. China comes next ...
So always referring to the Oktoberfest as a beer festival. Even if beer is drunk without end, it's still a good time. It was founded for the wedding of Crown Prince Ludwig of Bavaria and Princess Therese on October 12, 1810, and not because of the beer.
This is a very rudimentary video, only shows the biggest Tourist-spots. Don't take this video as a must have, to-do-list. Nearly every city/town has some sort of museum of their local culture and history. Nearly every town has an old church and or castle/palace inside or nearby.
❤ Grettings from Germany !! 🇩🇪
grettings!

Check out "Miniatur Wunderland" in Hamburg. 😁
Thanks for commenting that. I want to go there. I could spend all day there. Opening to close

Please work on not talking over the video. You miss a lot. Pause the video if you want to give your thoughts. Keep up the great work
Please don’t use AI Shit Videos.
Much more important.
No one needs AI. 👎
Ok stupid person needs it of course.
