7:58 in case you missed it, she's the little girl who performed a soldier's salute to Mikasa in that same flashback when Mikasa made her first kill... So yeah this episode also has stuffs that take us back to the supporting characters we did met in the earlier seasons. The girl saved by Mikasa in Season 1, Kaya who got saved by Sasha in Season 2, and Flegel who got saved by Hange in Season 3...
When you realize Kaya is the one Sasha saved two seasons ago: dopamine goes brrrr The element of dramatic irony (when the audience realizes critical info that the characters don't) is played so incredibly well in these episodes, leading up to the reveal at the restaurant. Even watching this episode for the first time, with all the puzzle pieces given to you, you can practically guess how explosive things are going to get once the cat is out of the bag
@@r_bear just so you know, "onee-chan" doesn't necessarily always mean "big sister", it's often used by people (mostly younger people) to refer to a girl / woman older than them in a positive way. In season 1, after Mikasa saves Louise, her mother, and many other civilians in Trost, Louise says to Mikasa "Onee-chan, arigatou", which roughly translates to "thank you, lady", as clearly there is no connection of sisterhood between them
Falco is the goat! In some sort of weird fucked up way Kaya got closure for why her mom died as well. I was not a fan of Commander Hange the 1st time I watched this but dam she has the whole nation on her shoulders when she was just a geek who wanted to learn more about titans now she's in this political mess. Poor girl
It's mostly out of Hange's control at this point, but I love her even more during this season for continuing to fight the good fight, when almost no one else seems to be willing to do so. Standing up to Eren's genocide, even though it would mean to betray a good portion of Eldians with that move, takes a lot of courage. I think Erwin knew why he picked her as a successor.
The difference between the girl that Mikasa saved and the girl that Sasha saved. See what happen to them that inspired them to become what they are now.
I can express my opinion from a third-party viewpoint with a perfectly honest idea, but I really think that the people involved are the ones who are incapable of doing so. Even a 10-year-old can understand that the spiral of hatred will only increase the number of unhappy people in the future if it is not cut somewhere, but for those who could only watch their family and beloved ones die in pain due to unreasonable attacks, while they are still alive, wondering what their fiancé died for. They will never be free from suffering. And while we understand in our heads that retaliation will not heal the wounds, most of us think it's impossible to move forward hand in hand, at least not in a year or two. And even if we are talking about past events, not the parties involved, it is different for third parties and the parties involved. A survey on the use of atomic bombs was conducted on the general public in the United States, The use of atomic bombs on women and children, civilians, not combatants, was not wrong. What is shocking is that this survey was conducted about a year ago. I was shocked that more than half of the American public thought this way. It is hard to believe that such a study would come out in this day and age, but it is not a lie. The indiscriminate use of weapons of mass destruction against civilians is an inhumane act, regardless of the United States.
This horse is Challot, our boy from other season, his master was Cys killed by Annie. The titan that Sasha killed to save Kaya, was the father of Conny. Yes, this show is just a masterpiece in all way ! ❤
@@tawadhu1104 Oh yeah, it's just a shame that Eren and Mikasa, when they disobeyed the commander, were let out immediately, so as you can see, double standards

First time I cried watching attack on titan was when Kaya said "I want to become a person like her" 😢
And that in the Japanese she says something more like "I want to be like my big sister" 😭

Who's the enemy? There are no enemies, you must understand, this is a good personification of the war in Ukraine
And Israel and Palestine conflict

this Episode is a TLDR of Israel-Palestine issue right now
Floch and the others were wrongly imprisoned just for telling the truth to the people who have every right to know how things really are
