I really enjoy eating hotpot at Asian restaurants in NYC and I would totally make soup bases and buy hotpot kits (meats and veggies) that would be ideal for this unit as well. Also steam some of my favorites, like Xiao Long Bao (soup dumplings) and pork buns! For camping as well, so user friendly in the video. Your chicken looks good and juicy! Excellent video. Greecho looks like an excellent little unit for a single person or a couple. Might add some rice to the broth and let it cook and serve it with the chicken.

I got the cooker just now in the mail. A few thoughts: 1) The cooker comprises of a hot plate, a pot & a skillet of sorts which also acts as a cover (u hav already shown this) 2) The hot plate & wire stows inside the pot which can then be covered & locked by the latches inbuilt in the handle of the cover (skillet) so that the cooker becomes a single unit 3) The exact dimensions of the cooker with the hot plate & wire stowed inside is: 4.2" x 6.55" x 9.75" (the pot is actually square as seen from top, but d bigger dimension on one side is due to the protruding handles) 4) the thickness of the pot / skillet is approx 2.5 mm. Length of the cord is 40" 5) the wire comes with a US type plug, so if you plan to use it in other countries an adapter will be required. 6) the pot / cover (skillet) is made of cast alluminium with a ceramic non stick coating, so any rough handling may damage the coating. 7) the pot / cover appears to be quite robust (because of the thickness) except for the plastic handles, which appear to be rather cheap & flimsy. Also the latches on the handle are not made properly (on one side it snaps shut properly while on the other side it is loose) 8) I havent' weighed it yet but the entire thing appears to be quite heavy compared to the other similar cookers available. 9) the hot plate appears to be made of very cheap plastic, with a rather loose & cheap looking temp adjusting knob. 9) the hot plate is dual voltage, & is therefore suitable for international travel. It draws a power of 700 W which appreas to be on the higher side for hotel room use (when u cook in the hotel room discretely, the lower the power drawal, the better) 10) Overall a very nice design which was executed rather poorly (poor fits & tolerances, poor material used)
