FAMILY MEAL IDEAS | QUICK FAMILY DINNER IDEAS uk 2020 | EILIDH WELLS

As promised! Here's some family meal ideas that we have had over the last 4 days :)
PIZZA SAUCE RECIPE (from takeaway secrets book)
2 clove of garlic
1 x 400g tin of plum tomatoes
2 tsp of dried basil or dried italian herbs
1 teaspoon sugar
1/4 tsp salt
pinch of black pepper
1. In a small frying pan, heat the olive oil over a low heat, slice garlic and add to the pan. Stir fry for the garlic for 1 min. Add the tin of tomatoes, dried basil, sugar, salt and black pepper.
2. Increase the heat and bring pan to the boil. Reduce to a simmer and cook for 15-20 mins. Remove sauce from heat and set aside to cool for a few mins.
3. Once cooled, use hand blender until smooth. Allow to cool completely and store in the fridge for up to 3 days.
