Love the little antiques shop, very cute, could spend ages in there having a nosey. Andy spotted a little 'van life' sign in the other cafe window you walked past. Oh leigh, just love your ma an pa, they are just the cutest 😍. Great vlog again, Love to you both as always x

My school desks were exactly like that in secondary school. Right down to the ink well.

Haha love how you called the “naf” trainers gardening shoes lol. We call them playing out shoes if they are just for scruffs . Hope your mum and dad enjoyed fraisthorpe beach…that was our go to beach as a family when we were growing up xx

Lovely vlog. Nice to see your Mam and Dad enjoying themselves. I know you have watched loads of van videos but wanted to mention one I just discovered ….Foresty Forest. Canadian dude. When he was kitting out his current van (which he did over a couple of years) he would do all the woodworking etc inside the van, in the Home Depot parking lot, or somewhere in the wilderness. I think he is up to almost 400k subscribers now.

They are called Bellows Nick it was used for the fire ..... oh love that old school desk with the ink well i remember getting numb bum on them all day 😂 ....

@@TheLodgeGuys yes need cushions seats are rock hard .... took me bk to the 70s sitting on them all day .... love antique shops and all vintage too .... great stuff in that shop ... loved it ... if that seat had cushion it make a great desk perfect for laptop storage .... good price too .... love it when you go round these places ❤
Hi guys, the mirrorless mirror was a fire screen, shielding people sitting close to a log fire, from too much heat or glare. X❤😂
Would have never guessed that. Surely it wouldn't be very fire proof
Akhbars on the headrow is my fav Indian in Leeds, the chickpea potato and spinach curry is divine. It does spoil you for other restaurants.
We used to love akbars when we spent more time over that way

Love antique shops, the school desk brought back memories of secondary school 😅, most of the lids used to be stuck down with chewing gum 😂. The giant fish fingers and salad that Leigh's mum made looked delicious 😋 x

I had one of those those hosepipes. It triples in length size when it fills with water. They’re great. It should work well for the motor home.😊

Antique Shop, lol, I would call it a 2nd Hand Shop or Junk Shop, we have thousands of them in every town & city in Australia, antiques are usually a specific age & quite stunning, so thought it funny. Anywho loved the vlog as always, sooo lovely to see Leighs mum n dad, Love Ya’s ❤❤

Antique shops like that are pretty fascinating, though the ones I’ve been in are usually all on one level. Usually the last thing I need to do is buy anything from one of them, since I have more things than I probably need to have anyway.

Hiya guys, I like going to antique shops where you find all sorts of things, like the way it keeps going on. And in so many rooms, like the coffee cafe you visit, I hope you had a lovely meal out at the Indian restaurant, I always wear my lounge fly bag when I go out,I have many, like your star wars bag Leigh, 👍
We love a mooch around a shop like that though we never buy anything as we don't have the room to keep things at the lodge. We just like to look
If you guys ever come to the west midlands on your travels you should go to the black country museum and the canal system you would ❤ it

Do you have a Dishoom restaurant near you? They do Indian breakfasts including a bacon nan bread and it's incredible! The house masala chai is also delicious x

Loving the videos! Me, my wife and our daughter are planning a trip to East Yorkshire. As you weren’t wowed by the food in this video, what Indian restaurant would you recommend in the area?

Fraisthorpe was a nudest beach up until the 1990s :) no myth I'm afraid 🤣 still get the odd naturists now on there!

Y'all vids are just too short for me,😭 and I want to watch y'all eat all y'all meals, not skip it😭 but I will continue to watch.
We used to use the blue stuff in the toilet waste cassette (this breaks the waste down) and either a laundry pod or fabric conditioner in the toilet water cassette, smelt much better than almond 🤢

Ive got a hose like that they call them magic hose as they expand double the size when fills with water, i love our one 👌 best hose ive bought

Watch the hose we had one got 3 uses out of it and it split if the tap has strong pressure it can split it 🥰🥰🥰

With the TV in the van have you thought of a satellite dish or tv aerial in case the WiFi doesn’t work when you travel
We're hopefully going to get starlink so we should always have wifi

The granular pods for the toilets don’t smell great either we have been camping for years and one I came across which is great the nonbio washing pods work a treat just pop one in the cassette and on u go everything breaks down and it’s a lot cheaper too I get the pods from Aldi works a treat ❤❤❤❤
I've read this but isn't it suppose to be bio to help break things down ?
@@TheLodgeGuys the non bio is better for the septic systems that they have on campsites to be honest i have used both and both work just as fine i do use the pink stuff in the flush cos that smells nice but do make sure to keep an eye on that too as you can get black spots in the water tank for the loo and it can wreck your pump in the toilet for the flush hope this helps
Our best indians is called Shahe in gosforth, family business the korma is to die for 👌 the chicken tikka is gourgous & they make there own mint sauce which i could drink by the gallon its so good ( family secret recipe)

Yeah we have plenty left. We're always keeping a close eye on it. It's all on spreadsheets 😂

Yes it's curved. Don't think that fad lasted long. Think they are all flat these days.

Completely agree with Leigh about disney plus you watch it for a few weeks then leave it for a few months. Id avoid Andor though i never finished it because it was so boring.
Have to agree, haven’t watched Disney+ for about 3 months now, luckily I don’t pay for it, I hang off one of my kids account😊
I've done the same again. Got right back into it for a week or so and now I've forgot about it again. We are watching through Downton for the 6th time again 😂

I drink alot of cappuccino at home & i drink out of those cups, but i wont drink a normal coffee out of a cappuccino cup so i know what you mean leigh

No point washing cars in this weather, just gets dirty again in a day with the dust & dirty roads

You need to try Indian palace in old town bridlington. It's near China city. Just down from bull and Sun pub going into Bridlington town
Centre I like the food there.
We rarely go out in Bridlington so don't know any of the places there. We must try sometime
