@PotatZo indeed he did say that the beginning but on the second guitar (js12) he said that it's a great beginners guitar and it's not just for metal and djent. I agree that should've played some clean tones
The playing didn't really showcase why these guitars are considered good 'shredding' guitars, cause they didn't go near the 22nd fret... Hell, i mean, the body is even scooped in the back to give your hands room :P
Excellent, I just wished they would have had a guitarist that actually went up and down the neck to show more of what the guitar can sound. he was just playing the same thing in every guitar. Didn't notice the difference at all between ALL of them!
One of the best electric guitars I ever owned was a Jackson Kelly. It was a late 90s version. Not sure how the quality is these days, but that one played extremely well & stayed in tune like nothing I've played since. Kinda wish I still had that guitar.
I thought so too...if your going to demo a BLEEPING RELATIVLY NEW GUITAR THAT YOU HOPE TO MAKE A BLEEPING PROFIT FROM AND JUST GAVE IT THE BEST BLEEPING ENDOUSREMENT THAT I COULD-....then yes it would be nice to have them some of the finer attributes of the instrument.(hehe)
I feel that it’s hard to really show off these guitars besides the aesthetic. The High Output Humbuckers are basically the same pickup being thrown in. I have a JS22 Snow White DKA And it’s amazing for the price point $199 and it plays amazingly. I upgraded it and I don’t need a $1000 guitar. Still under $500 too with the upgrades. I find that the JS22 is the best way to go for beginners. The radius works so well when I shred and riff out. It has always surprised me when I’d go to guitar stores and the neck on my guitar feels better than some of these high end guitars that sometimes have these imperfections. Jackson is my go to for guitars since I got my Dinky
@@smokeeater8048 i got my Dinky in 2015 as a gift for my birthday. I initially wanted a JS32 but I got this one instead and I still play that guitar consistently, in fact it’s probably my most played guitar I own. @@jaybat4634 fantastic birthday gift! Mine will be for kicking cancers a$$ and going forward with a childhood dream - learning to play the guitar. Best to you!
Just bought the JS32 in the transparent black quilt. I absolutely love it. I lowered the action, got me some stainless steel strings and Im ready to go. Took a long time to tune but it was worth it.
I purchased a JS22 for 220 €. Amazing guitar. Go for a compound radius if you are thinking of buying one. It's 60 - 80 euros more but definitely worth it. I would also recommend 24 frets because you have 2 clear patterns in front of you when you change octave. Great value for money
I'm got the red one from a pawnshop for about $100, just a older model, I think, being my first guitar out of a Amazon starter pack, I love it, the neck does take a little getting use to, it's definitely wider than what I'm use to
I thought he was meant to be demonstrating the flatness and speed of the compound radius down at the dusty end of the fretboard, instead, we got open metal hammer-ons/offs
My name is Bret Hall I've been playing for 50 + years and for $300 bucks you probably can't find a sweeter neck... Sound than one of these. I have an older Jackson performer series that played twice as much for. It was a real piece of crap. But the JDK SERIES for the money can't be beat. I don't work for any guitar store and it's just my opinion. Damm nice guitar no matter what kind of music or level you play at. If I was going to a guitar for my son I would him one of these. Blah blah..... I like them
I love how the resident shredder doesn't shred above the 5th fret, or even shred at all for that matter, when putting a metal guitar through its paces on a sales demo. Way to sell a guitar guys!
8:05 , but nick can play that fast . -_- ' i was waiting for some shredding, but then the same chord progression as on all the guitars, not fast and not 1 single note. lol
for the money you can't beat Jackson guitars and they've been out for a long time but they're hundred fifty and $200 guitars gives you a quality guitar far better than any silver tone or squier fender guitar
I will say I have the js22 and I have played guitars 3 times it’s price and I would say the Jackson n felt better. Only thing is the pick ups can be muddy.
I am an absolute beginner on the guitar. Love trash, death, black metal. I am in between an Ibanez Gio grg120 or a jackson js22. What should i get considering i am 6'5 with sausage fingers. Please help
JS22. Pedals? Clean examples? Old guy who would use it to play blues. Distortion is fine but not like you demoed. LOL. Otherwise, looks cool. You can't play cool, though. thanks.
I know this is an old video but im an absolute beginner when it comes to electric guitars . Been playing acoustic for a while but I wanted to know a guitar you would suggest if I wanted to play kind of rock genre but not metal . And under $300
The only other cheap guitar I'd get would be the ESP/LTD EC-10, we all need cheap guitars for our cars and parties etc ^^ don't bring your good stuff if your cheap stuff sounds just fine for noisy, aggressive gigs imo. can always do a little to one of the Dinky's and you've got a shedder on cheap!
What's this type of bridge called? Was looking for this information for a long time and would appreciate if someone can let me know. The bridge which is a semi floating one I meant
Pablo Metal i have a blue one, upgraded the pups with some iron gears, sounds awesome. Im 14 so cant afford duncons/other expensive brands. And rn i cant afford any (locking) tuners either

@@littlebits6231 good luck I dont think they are too common. I read someone say they were discontinued, higher management had issues w pentagram inlays
Should have gotten a better guitar player to demonstrate the full fret of each guitar, not someone who plays the same riff on the E string each time. Waste of time.
There may not be a significant difference in the sound of these guitars but they will surely feel different in terms of playability due to the difference in woods used and finishing of the neck.
I have an older Jackson. It's a performer series. It's a piece of shit. I was very, Very, VERY BEEPING, BLEEPED OFF ABOUT WHAT A BLEEPING PIECE OF BLEEPING PIECE BLEEPONG ,BLEEP it turned out to be. That being said (or not said) 10 years later I wound up playing the J DK 24 what ever. Been a long day. Here's the takeaway. I have small hands. I have only found a few guitars that really felt good in my little hands. It sucks to have little hands. No BLEEPING jokes about little hands, feet ECT...the compound radial neck blew me away! For the money there is not a easier, better playing, better sounding guitar on the market. NOT FOR UNDER $300 NO WAY! ..
Should've played all guitars on a clean channel too i couldn't find any difference in the tone of these guitars due to distortion.

Well, probably because they all have the same pickups.
I own. A JS22 DKA, bought it brand new for $200. Plays perfectly fine. Great guitar for a beginner. Recommend.

What size frets?
all the jackson have same pickup?
I thought the Kramer Baretta Special was king of the budget guitars, I could be wrong.
I have a JS32 can't complain next is fast
Do js22 and js32 have same neck?

Paid about 400 for the trans red js, bought off amazon. Hopefully didn’t overpay.
They look nice but instead of the crap trem just make it a hard tail.
That's my view too never liked trems. I'm a rhythm player so they are rather pointless to me

Seems a tad cheap to me. I usually use $500 price range as general benchmark on a semi-good quality guitar.
Need to shred man same riffs lol
would have helped a lot if u could state where they are made....
Anyone that cares will do their own research anyway.
Nick. You could have played something different.. Since they all sound the same. Monarkh seems decent. Prefer a white one and switch pickups
