Maddison is a mini Gia! She carries herself with grace and so well spoken. My daughter is only 3 years old but I aspire to have this relationship with her one day 💗 I love how intentional and thorough Gia is with her kids. Such a refreshing episode!
So many of us crave this kind of relationship with our mother. I didn’t have it at all and have accepted I will never have it. My grandma and mom have the same strained dynamic. But, God! I’m so determined, I’m making it my life’s most important work, it will stop with me. The generational curse of terrible mother/daughter relationships will stop with me and my daughters 💪🏾
This is why it's Important to have your things together. WAY easier to have your kids get accepted to top schools when the parents have money to get them best tutors and schooling. I went to MIT and was pretty much the only person that came from a broke family. Often made me jealous how much easier they had it but this is what I want for my kids too
Love this mommy daughter episode! Would love to also see a daddy son episode too to hear the male perspective on life and other subjects! Much love to all of you beautiful people! ❤
My son is NYU as well and graduating too. He just got engaged so it’s great to see that your daughter is as mature and looking at you both as example I guess that’s the same thing my son did with my husband and myself. Also my daughter met you both at Hampton recently. Thank you for being so kind to her
Such refreshing to see a healthy dynamic, Gia allows individualization and for her to be her own person, she’s also set a great example to how a woman should be treated for all of us
Envy! 😂 Madison, you’re in a relationship and it’s great that you two get along and it’s healthy, but it’s important for you to have a connection with the Self. Knowing yourself, having alone time, and never losing focus of your goals, interests, and purpose is important. You need to foster those things along with your relationship, because you are indeed an individual and it’s vital for women to be clear about who they are. From another women. ❤
Great episode! I would love to hear about differences between how Gia raised Madison versus how she is raising her youngest daughters given the different time periods (e.g., social media, changes in what they are being taught at school, different environments, etc).
Too many parents are busy providing for their children just so they can get a thank you and spend less time actually figuring how these kids will survive without them…a degree isn’t necessarily the path for all… what Gia and Envy are doing with their children is amazing
Currently 8 months pregnant with my first baby and it’s a girl. This is how I imagine my relationship with my daughter. A perfect balance b/t mother and friend 😍 just beautiful…
I was in the shower getting ready for work and thinking about how wonderful of a job you guys did with your family…and then I open up UA-cam and surprise! A Madison episode for us!! 🎉🎉❤😂😊
My mother has always taught me that there is always a MAD DAY. Basically, don't tell people things you don't want repeated because once they get mad, they will tell it all.
Awwww wonderful children and even better parents. It’s a blessing to see a black family so committed to positivity, honesty and integrity. May God continue to bless yall ❤
I absolutely loved this episode!! The way you have raised and are raising your children is phenomenal. I am so impressed on how your children are so appreciative and not entitled. Wonderful job Caseys!❤
Wow! Thank you Gia for this podcast! I love your mothering style, overall perspective and the way you carry yourself. Looking forward to hearing more of these conversations.
Gia! Please teach us your ways. I try my best to teach my son appreciation and respect… but it’s difficult. I feel like I have to remind him to say please and thank you and to show respect and appreciation.
OMGGGG!! I had to rewind when Envy comes from behind the couch at least 10x 😂😂😂😂 Now we need an episode with Envy and Logan (or even a double date one with Madison and Andrew 😊). I also will say/ask Gia, that I agree with you about spite. And I believe people reap what they sow. However, I have sometimes internally struggled with “who am I to say what someone does or does not deserve.” I think it’s different when the someone is your kids, but when you’re dating or with your friends, why is it my responsibility to be the judge on judgment day. If that makes sense. Would love to hear your thoughts! And lovedddd this episode. 12/10 🖤
One of my favorite episodes by far ❤ As someone in their 20’s (just like your daughter). I wasn’t the best kid growing up…but I related to her when it comes to doing right. My mother & I also built a relationship on trust, and honesty. Money can’t buy value, and ethics. So I appreciated hearing how you instilled those values in your children. Your daughter is beautiful…not just on the outside, but also on the inside. I’d love to have a friend like her. I can just tell she’s a beautiful spirit. May she continue to stay untainted, and on the right path in this world of uncertainty. Love to your family 🙏🏽
I loved this episode so much!! Madison is such an intelligent and inspiring young lady! Mom and dad raised her well. I would absolutely love to see her more on podcasts. I love to see the ladies taking over!
21:00 I've been through hell when my daughter was in her teenage years. Ive raised her to the best of my ability. However, I know she has been going through some issues and she couldnt come to me about it eventhough I initiate the "check in" conversations daily. Now she's 21, we've been more closer but those years of her being "not my daughter aka monster" was hell. We are now in the process of working on our relationship and I love what it is blossoming into ⚘️
This was refreshing and made me smile. The love expressed in the bond and for each other is something that is ideally strived for. Thank you both for the share and the example that it can be realized 😊
This was refreshing to watch. I was at work listening, then turned it off to watch on UA-cam. I was like, I definitely need to SEE this one. I admire your relationship and hope that even as a #BoyMom to a 10 and 1 1/2 year old that I can have something like this with them. I’m almost Gia’s age and still look up to her. You inspire me in every aspect to just do and want better. Love listening to/watching you and your family dynamic!! 💕
I watched this podcast with my 17-year-old. When I first started listening to this podcast She was about 12 and I let her listen to a couple of podcasts where Madison was on. She was excited to see Madison as a grown-up. I met my husband three years ago and now we have three additional little kids (2 under 2 & a 9 year old) so I can actually relate to this family now. My goal in raising multiple children is for all of them to argue over who is the favorite. I want all my kids to think that they are the favorite. I learned that from Gia ❤
I’m doing about 85% of what Gias talking about with my toddler girls. This is such a great parenting reminder to keep going because clearly Maddison turned out great🎉
This is my favorite episode. This was so beautiful to watch. I’m happy you’ve cultivated such loving relationships with your children. I’m sure it’s also a wonderful testament, as you’ve stated, to how well you were raised.❤️
I love this episode of your podcast. Your daughter is lovely, and the relationship between you both is so awesome. I wish her the best in her future endeavors. ❤
I have a 2 year old daughter and loved listening to this as I am always looking for ways of parenting her so that our relationship growing up will be a good one and one that she will want to value
I know someone might watch this and be like “oh cmon …. Yall are not this damn close” But when She said she felt so bad everyone can’t have my mom I felt that I remember being a teenager/ young adult and witnessing my friends have these terrible relationships with their Mom I just could not relate…. Even a couple of them came to live with us… This type of relationship is possible It truly comes from respect both ways and stern rules and values
Great point about talking to your kids about what job/careers will provide them the life they desire. Money isn’t the only factor, but it should definilty be considered when choosing a major. Too many people don’t think about how they are going to monetize their degree post graduation, that’s why there are so many people who finish college and are shocked to find out their 100k liberal arts degree is only getting them a job that pays 40-60k.
I like that Madison was honest enough to share what the consequences are when not following the rules. The spite approach is an interesting and effective one.
I love Gia Casey your parenting skills are on point ‼️‼️ I agree with everything you said. Kids need to work for it because the real world doesn't owe you anything. Your parents gave it to you and your parents can take it away‼️ The respect thing is BIG‼️ HONOR THY MOTHER AND FATHER THO YOUR DAYS SHALL BE LONG UPON THE EARTH‼️ I was taught as a child God is watching. I'm real BIG on respect the janitor the same way you respect the CEO‼️ As a child I was taught you never know someone's story about where they are in life. Don:t think you're better than because tables can turn and you too could be homeless, Great conversation and Gia your daughter is a very smart respectful young woman ♥️ Envy's pop up was hilarious 🤣🤣
Loved this episode ❤phenomenal job you guys have done on Madison! I am 26 and she reminds me a lot of myself I too am also in real estate in nyc hope to somehow bump into you Madison! Congratulations 🎉
“I would’ve gotten beat” LMFAOOOO Madison!!! Ugh I loved this episode my mom passed away 3 years ago when I was 23 & seeing healthy mother daughter relationships heal me in a way. I hope to be a great loving understanding mama like Gia one day!! 💓💓💓
I got emotional watching this podcast. If I ever have kids , I would want my daughter/kids to feel this way about me. I don’t have that type of relationship with my mom which is okay lol.
It’s so funny watching you ask Madison “do you know who _____ is?” She’s like “no.” My son is 20 and he doesn’t know anybody 😂. I do think that’s a good thing!
This is such a great podcast and has been for a number of years. I can’t phantom why the views and subscriptions are not more. I think you guys should look into getting a social media strategist and probably go on shows and radio to promote this podcast.
If their goal is to grow the podcast, maybe they should hire a strategist. Or maybe they're happy with how the podcast is performing. I listen to many episodes, I dont know who their target audience is....
@@charlie4006 I’m quite certain everyone wants growth. If not for the monetary aspect, for the reach and impact. I think Gia carries herself with such class, is very intelligent and a good mum. They raise their children well and have a committed long term marriage plus they are funny and fun.
@joyo8776 Gia is great, but as you stated, they need a different approach. I don't know who their target audience is, I don't know how relatable they are to the average person. Honestly, I would prefer to see Gia on a channel by herself without Envy doing things that she likes.
@@charlie4006They’re good together but I also think Gia could be a huge force in the media space on her own. I think she and Claudia Jordan would be a great dynamic duo. They would be great! Both smart, funny and seeing them on the BC I think it’ll be a hit.
Now I feel bad. that was so funny when madison got awkward when gia brought up we talk about everything but sex 😂. that a normal reaction. and like she still doesn't curse in front of her mom.
I swear I melt every time Gia says "because".😊
lol. Thought that was just me.
Wow it’s a lot of us than, Wendy Williams says it tooo I love it 😊😊😊
Then*
My true NewYorkers! Love it❤
The perfect mother daughter duo. This needs to be a separate podcast. You guys are gold ⭐️
Yes! I’ll love that 🙌🏽
This mother daughter Duo is needed at least once a month.

Such an inspiring relationship 🩷
19:30 not the hanger 😭😭😭 everybody’s mom has told them this story lol. Just like that scene from “Lady Sings the Blues” movie with Diana Ross.

Just stellar. ✨ ✨✨
Can’t wait to sing this song at the live podcast! 😂💛
Best episode ❤
Gia should be a guest on the Super Nanny show to help parents that have unruly kids. Id pay to watch that!!
It’s so funny watching you ask Madison “do you know who _____ is?” She’s like “no.” My son is 20 and he doesn’t know anybody 😂. I do think that’s a good thing!
Beautiful ladies ❤❤ we love beauty and brains!!
Early Happy Mothers Day! ❤
Love the Casey Crew!
Great episode
Gia loves to be reassured and for people to sing her praises!😂 Such an Aquarius, just like me lol
♒️💯
I swear I love her but was thinking the exact same thing lol 😂😂😂😂 like MY GOODNESS lmaooooo ! I’d bet words of affirmation must be her love language.
Lmao! I was listening to this with my 17 year old daughter and she said the same thing.
Love you guys so much ❤ hope to become this close with my mother one day
