I really love the moments of silence where Natalie allowed Lauren to think & I love how those weren't edited out. I feel like a lot of people fear silence & stillness and they're both needed. For me, anyway.

As a therapist, it is always good to sit in silence, not to rush the process or need to fill the ‘void’. It allows for emotions and words to be felt, processed, contemplated, for both the patient and the therapist.

I haven’t watched the video yet, but scrolled the comments. I realized this statement years ago and started sharing with others that everything we go through is not for us, but it’s for someone else that will go through the same or similar situation(s) and we’ll be able to connect, believe, understand, and help them through because we’ve went through it.

The rawness of her grief is because she carries her emotions at the depth of the ocean floor. Not many people can meet us there, thats why it still weighs heavy to this day. Healing is not linear, we should always have compassion for self and others 💛

That fear factor. That need for control is attached to abandonment wounds. You really got to go back in your timeline to when the trauma first formed and give your inner child alot of love, let them know we safe now and then release it. Surrender rather than resistance. Sending love to anyone going through it at the moment 💛

I learn something everytime I listen to a Lauren London interview. I love the fact that where she chooses to do interviews are with hosts who respect her as a person, a woman, a mother, a leader, a professional, a healer etc., and the conversations are insightful. I also love that she authentically carries Nipsey Hussle’s legacy in how she interacts with people because Nip taught her how. That is a love so damn deep

Lauren has been my bestie in my head since I was in high school. I’m 35 now 🤭💕 I don’t skip a project or interview. I’ve noticed she always touches on childhood trauma, but never goes in depth. The natural, curious side of me always wonders what she’s referring to. I wonder if there’s any similarity to what I’ve dealt with. I hope she does write a book. I read Jadas book when it came out and bought the audible. It was beautifully written and narrated. I can totally see and hear Lauren doing the same. I hope 🤎 … great interview and listening skills 💐

Wow... what a beautiful beautiful conversation. My favorite topic was "deprogramming your survival tactics//old habits that you put in place to protect yourself that don't work for the new level that God is calling you to..." WHEW. Really resonated with me when Lauren said her default survival tactic used to be anger and basically getting people told. I find myself in a season of elevation and just getting more curious about who God is calling me to be, and who I need to become in order to get where I'm going... and anger is something that comes up for me as well. Finding that balance of being a woman who walks in light/love while still knowing how to set clear and firm boundaries and communicate assertively when needed without getting hot-headed... that's something I'm still learning.
All of that to say... great, impactful conversation, ladies 💗

I have been in awe of Lauren since she hit the scene when I was a kid. People were so fixated on her physical beauty that her personality & the gems she would drop even back THEN were overlooked & underappreciated. Her sentiments would stick with me as if she was speaking directly to me & sometimes FOR me. Til this very day watching this video, damn near word for word, I see me in her. She is indeed very relatable, loving, intentional, and covered. This was also a great introduction to Natalie for me. This interview was so good. I’m also becoming a new version of myself and I’m learning about this new version of myself after going through my own type of trauma so when Lauren was speaking on that, it was very insightful.
