Hi and good evening Super video and how does that old saying go .. "The proof is I the pudding " .. well it certainly in the rig on this occasion.. Excellent call on change of rigs.. and taking time for the young ones may hopefully ignite an Interest in fishing... Well done and thank you for another superb video 👍
Thanks again Michael - it does pay to carry a range of rigs, since you never really know what might work / not work in certain situations and trying different things is part of the enjoyment of angling.
Great video Michael, as ever. You certainly don't sit about waiting for things to happen, I like the way you ring the changes with both bait and rigs. It was a long drive for you but well worth the effort.
Superb. There are many youtube anglers who try really hard and more often than not fail...Your videos are a masterclass in how to do it properly! Really enjoyed the young lads' excitement at the end. Thanks.
Awesome again some nice fish had a look at my 2 favorite beaches 2 day a lot of erotion and lot of weed the marina was full of weed very dirty water all round had 2 buy fish 4 dinner (THAT HURT ).Happy catching from AUSTRALIA Nick
Nice video Michael. Southbourne is awesome for the Small Eyed Rays. Im going to have a go for some Plaice and Sole on my 3rd rod next time im down there. Look forward to the next one mate. Cheers Paul
Nice mark. Great session and good to see some soles landed (I know they're your favourite) - also good to see there's no weed. I can see why that beach would get very busy in the summer. I will make a mental note of the mark for a future possibility of sole. Always a pleasure to watch your content, thank you!
will you be trying the same area at night, they have good catches there, I was out in the bay on a boat just messing about, had a spoon some beads and ragworm, as I reeled up I had the biggest sole I had every seen follow but not take, well over 2lbs, from the lenght of my trace about 16 - 18 inches, nice spot to fish.
Michael, do you ever eat the sole, whiting or bass? And have you ever fished Yarmouth and Caister? They are old haunts of mine from 1960's holidays. Cheers old son and here's to tight lines.
Soles I do, but generally put the bass and whiting back. I'll take the occasional bass, but prefer bream to bass. I've looked over, but have yet to fish Yarmouth and Caister - may get round to them next spring. Thanks for watching Allan.
Great content as always, have you fished that mark at other times? My daughter lives in Poole but we visit later or early in the year, because of mobility problems I prefer when less people are about. Do you coarse fish at all? Take care, Norfolk Ray
Thanks Ray - first time here, but I've fished what was the bistro several times (and at night) and double dykes, with similar success and with small eyed rays. Yes, I coarse match fish.

Another really good video. Your definitely the sole man! Always enjoy watching many thanks!
I appreciate that Nigel!
Another super video, great to see some flattie fishing. Definitely need to check out your sole rig and try it myself.
Please do and thanks again for watching and commenting Bill!

Good idea; however I much prefer daytime fishing, even though most soles are caught at night!
Nice vid mate
Many thanks Stephen.
Hey mate where abouts in the country was your most productive fishing session.
Best for me was probably 12 soles in one short session at Grays Wharf, with 9 of them being keepers.
@@rodsangleuk6283 very nice il have to check that video out for sure. keep up the good work mate love the videos

Mick you got any videos at swanage?
Not yet Simon - but will do at some point. The nearest to there will be my playlist on Studland - one of my favourite venues for gilthead bream.

There is a sand bar 60-70 yards out so distance casting isn’t beneficial. Paddle boarders are like cyclists- they think they own the place
Thanks for the info Stuart - I'm by no means an expert on the area - just try different things to catch.
@Phil Carpenter if you watched Phil the main aim was to catch sole or plaice! Your right if Raymond was a target species
