    Great vid brother! The time-laps and p-in-p with a calm voiceover is a great format for the subject. All the deets at once in a digestable and entertaining way👍🏼 Cant wait to VPV my rigs!

      @@JIPPERR_1 I can really see a big future community of FPV crawlers and racers and you're really at the tip of the spear mate👍🏽 Keep it up, loving the vids and all the information you're sharing🍻 Just wondering, is there any reason you're not using the DJI system in it?

      @@boccatxrx5023 i wanted the analog system in here for the on screen display angle readout and option to add on a second camera. So that stuff is all pretty easy on analog. I've got a build coming along with the dji system, its a faster car and i think the resolution pays off as it helps see things sooner 👍

    Awesome! How do you configure gimbal yaw with head tracker pan signal? Would you mind sharing your gimbal config file?

    • @JIPPERR_1
      @JIPPERR_1  Рік тому +3

      100% I can share the config file with you 👍 To work in the head tracker yaw you'll need to configure it on the RC inputs tab of the storm32 software. Thats where you would tell the gimbal where to get the yaw signal from. For pwm you tell it what pin on the storm32 you have the yaw signal connected to, or if you are using ppm tell it 'virtual 5'. Its a little confusing but if you check my video 'Stabilized FPV -JIPPERR_RC V2.1 Gimbal frame - Storm32' i go into detail about it. Also the vid 'Head Tracker - Radiolink RC6GS - FPV RC Car' goes into detail. Hit me up on instagram and we can chat more 👍👍

    Your chassis is the hcg version, right? Mine is made into a backslash and is on an lcg chassis. I guess I would have to start there. Kydex is a nice plastic to work with too.

    • @JIPPERR_1
      @JIPPERR_1  Рік тому +1

      Thats right John 👍i did start with a low cg chassis ages ago so at some point i switched over. I think for all terrain the high cg is cool. I have other cars for fast stuff now so here we are. 🍻

      I've definilty got an eye out for the kydex, i'm waiting to see how durable this abs sheet is. I've got a build going with the gimbal mounted to the abs so i'll know soon enough

      I have one very small toy drone that i fpv'd, and a simulator app on my phone 👍 used to fly fixed wing but not in fpv at the time. 99% of my fpv experience is with rc cars 🚗 😳

    I like having so much of the car in view! I've always wondered how a third person view (mor similar to driving in a video game) would work...

      Like setting the camera waaaay back at the back? Probably the furthest back you could go is behind the rear shock tower, but i guess you could always make a mast to move it even further back. Generally further back works well cause it means the camera doesnt need to pan to see around corners and it gives a good feeling of awearness of what the car is doing and whats around it. Id like to do a buggy build with this in mind, would work well i think 👍
