I hope that you have a great time and thank you for watching. As a FYI, they rescheduled Bloomaroo by the Wharf for Saturday, March 31st. There are a lot of fun activities and performances going on for Bloomaroo and it is worth checking out.
We love to see the visitors, but wanted to establish some basic courtesies. We did forget to mention not to break off branches or flower clusters. We saw tons of that.
The tidal basin cherry blossoms (Yoshino) will likely be past bloom, but the festival would be going on, and other blossoms (Kwanzan) should be blooming. Spring is a great time to capture DC.
@uloveholly82 sorry you might miss them this year! The weather has turned a bit colder in recent days so they might hang on, but April 1 is far enough away that we can’t be sure
Stick to the plan! There will still be plenty of blooms and the festival will have just started. Once a tree’s blossoms open, it’s an average of 7 days before the fall (rain and wind can shorten that timeline), but there were TONS of trees that haven’t opened so you should have a great visit.
Great video so beautiful from the water. ❤
Can't wait to everything this Saturday 🙌 😍

Happy peak bloom and cherry blossom season! Do you have plans to travel to DC this year? Let us know!
The DC Cherry🌺 Blossom fest draws hugh crowds every year. Mostly tourist from all over. The locals pretty much been there done that.

@JLewTravels thank you replying. We mainly wanted to see the cherry blossoms, so we don't care much about the festival. I guess we'll come next year.

We cant go until 22, should we stick with the plan or wait another year 😢?
