Kudos to Mary Trump for not only telling her own story, but revealing the generational trauma and dysfunction that contributed to making her uncle a monster. You can see how he's passed it along to his own kids and onto the entire nation. I think people should just call out his terrible actions as such. No more debating on whether he's a threat to democracy or a sociopath or a racist. Mary Trump is to be admired for disclosing her family history of cruelty. However, Donald Trump's -- whether it was from family or external circumstances -- untreated psychological issues are his own for which he alone bears responsibility. I was traumatized growing up because my father was also a malignant (at times violently so) narcissist. I think it's critically important to understand that people like my father and Trump exist... that they are what happens when a child has a particular kind of childhood (abused themselves by domineering, mentally ill fathers) followed by a developmental path as an adult in which the brokenness is never acknowledged and therefore psychological treatment is never begun. My father lived in his own, hate and victimhood-filled reality until he died. I'm sure Donald will too. But the main point here is... We Should Never Let People Like This Become Leaders... and the mainstream news should commit to reporting on the psychological health of ALL political candidates going forward. Had that happened in 2015 with Trump, the United States would be a much healthier and safer place than it is today!

From the time Trump said his parents dropped him at the NY subway and said "bye Darling", I confirmed that whole story was a lie. No one has ever uttered those words to Trump, and definitely not his parents.
Psychopathy acts like a mental virus. It is generational; passed along from damaged parent to child who then grows up to become a terror as a parent who then traumatizes a child, and on and on. I'm not American, so I'm not sure, but as I understand it you can't bring charges against a president for anything he did in his capacity as president. There was also a note, an opinion in the DOJ under the corrupt Barr that stated that you can't prosecute a sitting president. How an opinion is something binding I don't know. Must be an American thing, in my country only laws are binding. No precedent, no opinion, just our very precise laws, that don't need guessing and much Interpretation.

It’s always been obvious that Trump was broken by his dysfunctional parents in childhood. Those character traits aren’t intrinsic at birth. He was born a perfect lovable little baby and was conditioned to become the man he is today. His story, as told by his niece, is actually really heartbreaking.
