Those little soups would be so great for the new Blessing Box the church just put up --plus the Food Bank another church has on every other Thursday - - it's worth a trip down there just to get some case lots to help out those that can't afford food up this way.
Work travel will be taking near one of the PA Sharp Shopper stores and I'm way too excited about it! I'm taking a cooler with me and hoping for deals! Otherwise the closest store is about 1.5 hours from my house. Thanks for your videos!
I wish we had a Sharp Shopper close to us! We went to one on a family trip to Pennsylvania in 2021 and I dream of getting those deals! I love that you show so many things with the prices up close. I especially love the frozen foods section at Sharp shopper. So many good deals!
Thank you for the comment and kind worlds! I drive about a hour to get to Sharp Shipper but I believe it is worth the trip:). Where are you from? I hope someday you get a Sharp Shopper! Wouldn’t that be incredible!!
@@mamashalldo We are from Montana. A small semi-rural town. We have two small grocery stores and if we want to get to a Walmart or Costco, we have to drive over an hour away. No discount stores to speak of out here. A gallon of milk runs $4.29 on average and a dozen eggs is about $2-$4 depending on the season, just for perspective of what we are used to paying. When we were in PA on our trip, we stayed in a hotel with a kitchen, so we got to take advantage of some of their good deals at Sharp Shopper and have breakfasts and some dinners in our room. Thanks for your great videos!
Thank you for sharing:). I am in south central PA...just a couple minutes from the Maryland line. In PA milk is 4.-- a gallon (varies a little depending on the fat level of the variety...whole milk is close to $5 a gallon). Just a couple minutes away in Maryland milk is 2.-- per gallon for any type! It is just nuts. So obviously I drive to Maryland to get my milk each week. The same is true with eggs here, there isn't quite as much of a price difference but they definitely are cheaper in Maryland. Goodness, I could not imagine driving so long to get to a Walmart. Do you really try to stock up with you make it there? I know if I can't get things on discount or sale then Walmart generally has the best price. I bet semi-rural Montana is beautiful:). I have not made it that far yet, but I hope to someday:)
Thanks for sharing! I’ve been doing a little research to see if I want to make the haul that way. Maybe I’m getting way too geeked out over this place. 😂 🤷🏻♀️
@@mamashalldo The closest one is two hours. I’ve asked a friend if she’d like to go with me. We don’t have a pig this year, so just stocking up on sausage would be great. I also don’t buy a lot of convenience foods, and I think we’d all enjoy those treats. Do they have limits?
I drive about an hour…I think I would make a 2 hour drive. Probably not as often as I go now though. I generally get there every 3 to 4 weeks. It would be a fun day trip for you especially if your friend goes along! As far as I know they don’t have limits at least they have never limited me. I hope if you do go they have a lot of wonderful things you are looking for! Sometimes they have 2 & 3 lb sausage rolls Jimmy Dean frozen…I like to get those…fingers crossed for you on the sausage🥰
I've bought that pizza sauce Contadina, and my kids really liked it! We got the pitas from Sam's and made DIY pizza one night. It was a big hit. I'm usually really picky abotu tomato sauces and I thought this one was really good. I got the hazelnut Godiva coffee and wasn't a fan. I didn't taste anything but the coffee flavor. I'll stick with my other brand instead. In defense, though, I use a Moka pot so it may have been better in a different brewing system.
Thank you for commenting:). I bought the pizza sauce on my last trip and just haven’t made pizza yet🙃. I need to get to it because everyone loves when we have homemade pizza🥰. I love your idea making the pizza with pitas. Maybe Godiva is just better with chocolate🙃🤣
I was in that same Sharp Shopper today ..the BG pickles are manufactured in India. I decided to pass..no telling how long they were on a container ship.
Wow India! It amazes me sometimes how it can even be profitable for companies to make such things in other countries and transport them here. Those were heavy large jars. Very interesting! Thank you for sharing that🥰
Everyone feels so differently about everything food related. Well food isn’t the exception🙃. Everyone has different opinions about everything😊. Some care about dates, others don’t. Some care about origins, others don’t. Some care about genetically modified ingredients, dyes, preservatives…it just goes on and on. To each their own!

That is a great idea! I will have to keep that in mind when I’m there next. Thank you for sharing:)

Finally used the pizza sauce:). You’re right it’s good! I loved how thick it was too:)
Now I have to go 2 hour drive but worth it
Have you been there before?

who cares how long they were on the ship, theyre in store so they arent bad and theyre stored very well. it takes a bit for pickles to even ferment
