americans are obsessed with 'health' foods but its just change whatever ingredient is the fad at the time and call it healthy. aka right now its vegetable and seed oils that are "bad" so everyone uses avocado oil. people here dont know how to eat whole foods
since the 80's, the American food system has been really crap, and the food companies here have gotten more cheap and oversaturated with processed foods. it's really hard to find a genuine good produce and foods because of how corrupt the FDA and Big Ag has become.
I bake figs in the oven- slice in half, cut side up add cinnamon and honey and a few tablespoons of water, put in 180 oven for about 15 minutes. May need longer if you prefer - try and taste then bake how long you like. It’s my favourite way to eat figs; you can add to Greek yoghurt or whipped cream or ice cream.
It's refreshing to see realistic grocery shopping. I would love to see what else you buy at other stores to fill up your pantry. How much do you average out each month on groceries? When I talk to friends my average seems high but I shop the healthier options which is maybe why. And we are gluten free. Keep the videos coming!
Better Than Bullion is better than bullion cubes. I use it along with canned broth that I get on sale when my Smiths (Kroger) store has their case sale. Lasts me all year. I freeze avocados if getting too ripe. The fridge turns them black if in there too long. I pit peel chop, and toss with lemon juice, bag squeezing as much air out as possible. I thaw on a towel, there is some liquid and use in guacamole and smoothies. No waste.
Hello from Holtwood pa!we finally moved in November. It's been a crazy month for me after we moved in some how we both came with Covid and hit hubby hard that he was in the hospital and in rehab facility to get stronger. Miss him terribly. We need prayers 🙏.
Great video! I do Sam's Club, not Cosco, so it's great to see what is actually in the Cosco Store! I love to see it laid all out on the counter, too! $1200 Haul! WOW!
Oh Miss Rachael how I've missed you! I was worried about you 😔 You look beautiful as always & welcome back! Congrats on baby #3! Wow how time flies! I remember when Mr. Logan was just a little bitty guy! Thanks for sharing! Sending love & positive vibes from RI 🤗🥰
ok, for someone that comes from a large family...that just got larger since everyone decided to move back home, plus the in-laws and their kids...start taking the flat with you. yes kids can sit on the flats. in fact for a lot of them, it's a lot more fun to sit on a flat then in a cart. The flat holds a LOT more than a cart.
I live in the same little town as the diestal turkey farm and they used to be so good! But they are now in so many big box stores I don’t like the product as much.
My fave. It has sooo sooo long and I missed Isla and your handsome baby boy! I’m your fan here from Philippines! Wishing you blessed and happy holidays 🎉❤
Try ground chicken!!! The consistency and flavor is wayyy better than ground turkey. Ground chicken over some which rice with teriyaki sauce is the easier meal.
Congratulations on baby #3! I’m also pregnant with baby #3 and really sick this time too. I add chopped figs to my oatmeal during cooking and they are delicious!
I am so excited for you to garden nxt season. You are going to save so much money! And maybe get chickens lol have you ever reached out to local farmers for half a cow? I cant get over how much meat is at costco!
We eat organic and shop at Costco as well. First video of yours I watched and I like it. Just subscribed. Did you have one child with you or two? God bless you with children at Costco, lol
That’s a lot a paper towel, no idea what you use them for but if it’s not actual dirt and other gross stuff, maybe look into rags made out of cotton etc, so you can wash and reuse them :)
hi my name is kathryn my fianice is in syria with the us army and i am here in australia i love your content please keep your prayers for jason manella to come home safe
New Sub / Viewer !!! Keep in mind *Food Prices will going up HIGHER , either in the summer or fall ,but I know I been stocking up weekly. We will visit our Local Stores ( 5 ) , Costcos and Sam's and they have sales on their food. Aldi and Ruler's have cheaper name brand can goods . Ruler in this region prices are 58 cents a can , so I'll buy 2 cases of each vegetables.
We absolutely love those Simple Mills graham crackers! What a great price too. Next time I’m at Costco, I will keep an eye out for them. Also, a frozen cherries, mangoes and coconut water in a smoothie or (nice cream blended) is amazing for sleep. Mangoes are another great food for sleep. I could not find the Siete’s last time we went. I’m so glad you shared that they moved them and the Grillos are our fav pickles. Costco for the win!
What do you do for a living that you can afford such a bill twice a month? I need a job there obviously, also apologies, I don't mean to be negative. Your review is lovely and filled with a lot of amazing facts like cherry juice as melatonin. Thank you for your post and apologies I'm a grumpy bear.
I am a bit surprised by the amount of packaging to be honest. We don't have Costo in France but It seems all of these are highly processed products
Il y en a 2 en Île de France
They are highly processed products. Most Americans eat mostly processed products

Welcome to the USA

That’s a lot a paper towel, no idea what you use them for but if it’s not actual dirt and other gross stuff, maybe look into rags made out of cotton etc, so you can wash and reuse them :)

when you say bi-monthly do you mean every two months or twice a month. By definition it can be both.
Great haul ,wish l had costco where l am
If I'm hungry and have snack bags, I'll open, and at the checkout, I pay for them. Shouldn't be a problem at all
Hi from Northern Idaho! Love your Costco videos and all your ideas!
LOL you're just like me. i would open a bag of chips and then pay for it. The cashier had no problem with it too.
Enjoyed the video

Lol. I just looked at the thumbnail, and said I'm not alone! I just spent 800 at Costco. I almost passed out
Oh no on the turkey!! Did you end up bringing it back?
We did! The customer service guy said they have had a couple of other complaints on it as well
@@RachelK so weird!! I never would have even have thought that there could be a difference in taste. I learned something new!!
I LOVE Diestel Turkey. It is Organic and cleanly raised. So odd.
Costco in Korea is awesome 🎉
Take the oxo when they go on sale -20$ ,
Do you have a lot of food waste? I’m considering membership but worried about wasting more
We do not. But we also eat every meal at home and I plan out our meals- so very little goes to waste if any
I love your videos 👍
New here! You sound exactly like Brianna K 👀
Just found ya girl and enjoyed ya energy..definitely getting a follow....❤️
No hate, but bimonthly means once every two weeks not every two months! Just a heads up 😮
It can mean both :)
How do you know when things are “going away” ?!
Could you return the turkey that was so bad ?
Blessings stay safe ❤️
i average about 12-15k/year at costco
my family of 4

Daisy flowers 😘
We miss you Rachel
How is Isla so big already 😫
nice
Why is everything in so much plastic and processed 😳 you should shop in Europe some day, much better food
Yeah America uses a lot of plastics.i hate that..
So your solution is for her to travel by air which is worse for the planet 😂😅
That is a lot food
Love you. Daughter
