I absolutely love this fic for a number of reasons. It portrays reality and the society we live in, higher position = power. It also explains about corruption and how one bad apple can affect a community.
This one really hits home for me. Coming from a police family. I know that there’s good police and bad police, and believe me whenever my cousin (the current captain) dealt with any officers like that, he makes sure that they got what they deserved. Especially since Rarity is my 2nd favorite character (Twilight being my first) and she did handle it better than most people did. This was a very well respected story. Thank you Scribbler

I'll admit, I was a little apprehensive about listening to this at first. A story tagged as a sadfic, with that background image (at a quick glance it almost looks like there's blood on the ground...) AND themes of police abusing their power? I was worried this was going to go into some very, very bad places (no, not like THAT, ya weirdos!) I'm glad I ended up listening anyways, despite my initial apprehensions. This was a good story and, as usual, the VA cast did an excellent job. MuseScript especially did a fan-TASTIC job as Rarity.
that corrupted cop and Rarity was super well written. this is something that sometimes happens. cops have and can use certain interrogating tactics or talk in a way that will build a narrative in there favor, and can later be used as your confession in court basically. Rarity made a huge mistake in telling him about the random $10 on the ground, those are the details that can he turn against you. the only reason Rarity barley got out was because of her silver tongue being very clever and stubborn, which is super true to her character. but i don't know nothing about law i recommend researching this kind of stuff, if you do find yourself in this situation get an attorney before speaking further.

Side thought, am I the only one who would happily watch a before and after video by rarity of this "emergency surgery" in a series called "what not to do: quality vs brand names"? cuz I think that would be educational on SO many levels. Also, calling it now: that badge number was a fake. mad props to rarity to actually use reason and rational to figure out who was to blame, if at all. Maybe it's just me but I've noticed the fanfic versions of rarity tend to be more balanced of feminine and well educated. Compared to the show anyway. and it's not just her: Aj is more willing to let go of her pride, twilight more introspective, and pinkie either crazy with a method behind it or less crazy when dealing with things like pregnancy or loss. Fluttershy still her kind but firm self. However I don't really read much of rd fics. What little I have aren't exactly helping my own feelings towards her. Though this police pony kinda reminds me of the tangled series "legal system". Seriously, do ALL legal systems in fantasy media that deals with Royalty/nobles or kingdoms suck? (RWBY, MLP, Tangled series, and Disney princesses in general)

oh, i've actually read this one! ALL of Estee's stories are quite good, although some (like this one) can get quite disturbing. BUT i highly recommend starting with "Tryptich", since most of the world-building is in that one, so many of them won't make sense if you're not familiar with that one. it's rather long and complicated, but really interesting.

She never stole she simply found them on the ground and when she witnessed people dropping or loosing them she would give them back to their rightful owner

She never stole she simply found them on the ground and when she witnessed people dropping or loosing them she would give them back to their rightful owner
