Can the self leveling function be overridden, ie in the case of putting up rafters to falls?

Yes you can set the laser to do a fall between two measured points, as in something like a drainage pipe, or if you wanted to tile at a 45 degrees etc this would be created by the movement in the tripod head itself. Or by tilting and shims to desired angles
I’ve not done rafters so I’m not quite sure what’s involved
