Just curious when you are crossing these lakes off your list with fish or not are you tracking all of this with a spreadsheet, with locations and details? If I was doing this I would forgot which lake was which! 😂
Interesting l can’t spear fish where I am. I have only done holes like that for Polar Plunges 😂😂. That wind & you getting pulled. Don’t fall in there,,,. It’s not just the cold water, but if you don’t come up through the hole,,, you can’t see well enough to find it generally. I have pulled too many from frozen ponds & lakes over the years. Som were blown across the ice into open water, or even large holes like yours. Sometime it’s just thin ice, but even in very still lakes it’s surprising how far away from the actual hole the bodies are. Some have been multiple people that saw the person, family member or friend drown right before their eyes. I an a retired LEO and I had to see these things through to the end so I heard stuff I can’t unhear. Remember, be careful. I couldn’t tell if the gear you were wearing was floater gear or not. If I’m fishing alone in less than perfect conditions, I wear floating jacket & pants. Ya never know & those would prevent you from going under the ice. I have jumped into my pool feet first & my face and hair didn’t get wet! 😂😂. It works! Glad to see you outdoors! Thanks for the entertainment!!
@@UnReelMinnesota 😝 Thanks for the video Mike ! I plan to drive out to a lake in the Iron Range next week to spend a couple weeks at our cabin. It's 2,100 miles from my home in California. I make the drive several times a year. I don't catch much when I go ice fishing but I like the solitude. Best wishes & good luck !!!

If I secretly stock a body of water with fish, they might survive and even reproduce. Might be too costly.
