I would love to see her grow out her natural and do a balayage look with hair extensions that are rooted. So she can have a break and grow some strong natural hair. But it looks amazing!
If you were to use an oxidative dye remover (like the Pravana one) it doesn’t have ammonia or peroxide in it so it’s great because you can apply it right on the scalp and have zero lift. I always warn clients it smells like actual garbage but will come out and is so worth it. These are more similar to blank canvas where it will lift the base since you’re adding developer. I highly recommend having the Pravana Color Remover on hand since you guys love being color chameleons, it’s a serious life saver behind the chair! 🖤
You are exceptionally knowledgeable and professional. I've been a Hair Stylist for quite a few years and I learn more from each of the videos that you do. I love your work and what's most important is that your colours, extensions and everything that you do are suitable for the clients. Keep up the good work. I love learning and you are such a good teacher. Cheers, Fredrick Fowler
i dyed my hair dark brown for years now and i'm so tired of that dark hair, i'm a natural blonde too. her results are incredible. i hope i get there someday too :)
Joico's color eraser is basically just bleach, which is why it lifted the color out not as "pretty". I avoid it at all costs if I can and use things like the Pravana color extractor (which is discontinued sadly) or the Dennis Bernard Color Out, which remove so easily but don't overly damage your hair. I think the color delete might be just like those two and that's why it lifted "prettier"! I'll have to look into that one and try it!
I totally get it. For a before and after for the internet its instant gratification. I specialize in color in LA. I commend you doing this all in one appt. I would like to see this hair and how it holds up in 8 weeks. Is there more breakage? I used a color remover that has no peroxide to add to it. 20 vol with any color remover means.....bleach. Pravana and Rusk have two color removes that do not trash the hair. 20 vol with color remover is bleach. Then a bleach bath. Then 20 vol bleach foils that sit on the hair for 30 min. So 3 bleach processes in one sitting means....breakage in the long run. I would break this appt. up. one day color remover. Then go home olaplex it 2 times. Come back for the color and low vol. highlights. Then color gloss the whole thing with olaplex #1 in the shades gloss. Then finish with #2 olaplex. But I would break this up into 2 to 3 appts. Not all in one day. We all do things different. I just would fear my client showing up after 8 weeks of blowouts and irons all the ends would be gone. Bleach plus bleach plus irons equals ….breakage But for this vid. It looked good for the shot.
Keep ignoring the negative girl.... You really show us what can be done. We all know the risks and I'm so happy you take the risks because some of us want to know what the end looks like even tho there are risks. I love it and I love y'all 💜 and if I ever get there I can't wait to see what you can do to my very thick and curly hair lol
Her hair isn’t even fried, idk what people are talking about. As a stylist myself, this is impressive. There’s always some damage when going lighter, that’s to be expected. Great job! Love it! I would love to have extensions but It’s not in the budget! Again great job ❤️
Great Video! I am new to your channel but I fell in LOVE with the technique and patience you show with colour. I will be going to cosmetology school and I feel more confident about colour now!
i love it !!!! next time please put the toner on the video so i know what u used, English is not my first language so i have to think twice what you say lol
Since she has kind of a lot of fall out visible in the root area this blond is a good direction, she should keep it for a long time, I used to have this hair state when I changed colors frequently. Also try the BC Bonacure Scalp Genesis treatment, and protein for the ends. Nice video thanks for sharing Jessi 😊
Hi Jessi! Just a heads up that those two products you used to remove her colour are not true colour extractors like Pravana’s. They are mild bleaching agents, that’s why it lifted her natural. Just for future reference 😊
How come there’s no mention of the hair extensions? Maybe I missed that but at 11.50 it’s just past her shoulders and sparse looking and then 11.20 it’s waist length, luscious thick and that beautiful milky blonde on the ends is pretty much all hair extensions.
lolol. as a cosmo student let me tell u. if you have someone in your family that does hair or if you do hair yourself you’re ALWAYS gonna change bc it’s at your disposal and it’s honestly awful lmao
So I’m wondering why you mixed both color removers at the same time and then did one whole side then moved on to the other - leaving the scruples developer to decrease. Do you think doing one at a time would have made the scruples work better?
I was just thinking this, her poor hair. I'm all about pushing the hair a bit more than you should *sometimes* but I'd just hate myself if I left my clients leave with heaps of breakage every time.
@@porcelaindolli3 errrr.... her sister would have just gone to someone else and if they were less educated in the color correction department she would have potentially jacked up her hair even more than the mild damage from doing the process correctly with Jessi doing it. if your best friend wanted this process, you would do it. and if it fried her hair off you would probably laugh your asses off together and then cry together. it is called being a good sister, being a good friend, etc. lighten up dude. :) learn to live and laugh!
I am pretty sure her sister knew the risk. When I was young I colored my hair all the time. It would be dry. I knew the risk but loved the change lol. And considering how she likes to jump colors the damage isn’t bad Thank you Jess for giving us the video 😀
Her hair looks like its been through a ton of everything. Im surprised she still has hair. I would be afraid to process her hair with a 5 volume. You are brave honey to do attempt this on her hair. Snaps
@@chloesmith1275 Yes i am aware, it was that I was under the impression that color eraser was only for direct dyes as opposed to aniline dyes and was surprised that it could be used with a demi. Of course it makes sense now because I used color eraser once to remove a direct dye from my own hair and it lightened it to a level 9. There had been previous permanent level 4 color on it and it went right through it.
You say at the end of your video to comment but I’ve seen a few of your replies to honest comments ( not rude) & you seem to be shooting viewers down for not agreeing with your practices . I’m just going to leave this here , block me if you don’t agree .
Wow, that was a lot of tedious work and color chemistry! It turned out great, her hair didn’t look any different in strength than what you started with- confused by all the people blaming you for any damage! This is an amazing transformation.
I have a level 7 Copper Color in my Hair for about 6 months! The roots with permanent Hair color and ends with semi color from keune! Could I use this method also for me? Sorry for my english i’m from the netherlands🥰
Bobby Van Kooten Yes you could and it would be much easier since your not coming from black hair. I would use your regular lightener instead of the options she used. Their much harsher and not really necessary for you. Best wishes 😊
As a stylist it’s frustrating because I feel like she uses extensions and goes “look how bright her hair got!” And I’ve seen her put 30 vol over already lightened hair and again, put in extensions. It should be more important to keep the hair in a healthy state instead of bleaching the life out of it and then putting in extensions afterword to make it look healthy
Kelly we own an extension company, so not gonna happen lol. Also, this is my sister and she knew all the risks. Like i said in the video, i told her not to expect much and to take it slow and she chose to do this. Please don’t comment if you can’t be nice
As a hairstylist myself, I would not recommend this process to a client. We want you to keep coming back to us, so low and slow just like Jess says. But most people don't actually commit to using professional products that maintain the health of their hair and repair the damage done by color and lightener. I totally understand her sister being down for this and Jess being okay with doing it. Jess is a professional and her sister knows what she needs to do to keep her hair healthy. Jess isn't dumb y'all, the girl has built a successful company and education program because of her skills. 99% of the photos you see of girls with amazing, healthy, long hair on Instagram and Pinterest have extensions in. They give people who's hair doesn't grow, or who are thinning, or who like to change their color often the ability to have what they want when they want it. Don't let jealousy ruin your chance to learn a great technique from someone that only has good intentions. I know it's hard, but you'll be happier lifting someone else up than tearing them down.
She looks amazing. I used pravana on my hair and it looks great too. I think you always do an amazing job and I hope to visit you one day. I remember when I was doing this me and my friends changed our color all the time. My hair actually never got ruined.... Damaged trees but never very much and we used straight up bleach lol. We didn't have fancy stuff. It was so so much fun. I'm glad you and your sister can experiment and enjoy it and besides that's what extensions are for lol.... Too help! 💜💜💜💜
I would love to see her grow out her natural and do a balayage look with hair extensions that are rooted. So she can have a break and grow some strong natural hair. But it looks amazing!
yesss
Hair extensions don’t help grow thick natural hair tho? They thin your hair out and are a pain in the ass and cost so much for reups every 8 weeks
Yes yes yes yes I 100% agree. I love pravana color remover♡
Are they making again? Pravana stopped making it
Is that one of the rotten egg smelling removers?
This way is more healthy for the hairs.
Pretty sure all of the sulfur color removers (which are far superior to these bleach ones) have been discontinued
You are exceptionally knowledgeable and professional. I've been a Hair Stylist for quite a few years and I learn more from each of the videos that you do. Thank you so much!!
Stew is the real mvp. I was dying at the end with him in the flier spinning her around. 🤣
i dyed my hair dark brown for years now and i'm so tired of that dark hair, i'm a natural blonde too. her results are incredible. i hope i get there someday too :)
As a stylist, curious why you used a remover for direct dyes instead of oxidative remover like rusk eliminate?
Same

JJ I must look for the Dennis Bernard I have been so said about the pravana being gone
Seven Zen Hair it’s amazing! Got my copper completely out. I got it at SalonCentric.
JJ thank you. I will definitely go get it!!
that's so bad how they can call it a colour remover but it's just bleach😫
Malibu CPR under heat is wonderful! No damage and you can repeat up to 3 times.

Aww I loved her dark 😭 she can pull both off though 😍 xx
Those extensions are saving her whole life lol

This was awesome, thanks Jessie! I have a lot more confidence going into a color correction now. 😘
Wow looks gorgeous 🙌👏 amazing transformation
This one came out great and I think because she was light enough to begin with and also because blonde is really a great color for her
Aww i loved her dark hair so much

I’ve been watching your videos for years. You are such a amazing cosmetologist and I aspire to be like you! The hairs look amazing. Love it!
Actually it would look fabulous with an inch trimmed off the bottom and no extensions
Agreed! Except more like a good 5 inch chop would be best lol
Looks bomb
Swarkopff bonded remover is simply the best remover to use.
Her end result reminds me a lot of your hair when I first started watching you! Btw, you’re both so pretty ☺️
That was awesome transformation 👏 love your advanced classes !
could you get this light in one session with a shadow root if your hair is virgin dark brown?
wow!! amazing transformation, she looks so good blonde!
It looks great!
That’s crazy !!! Fantastic job x
Hi Jessi! Just a heads up that those two products you used to remove her colour are not true colour extractors like Pravana’s. They are mild bleaching agents, that’s why it lifted her natural. Just for future reference 😊
Diego Assandri thanks for the positivity 😘 i don’t “fix” with extensions, i enhance ✨
stu looks so good with dark hair!!!
Love this. It’s beautiful!!!
That was a pretty radical transformation. Didn’t think it was going to come out well after the bleach session resulted in so much orange. Great job.
How come there’s no mention of the hair extensions? Maybe I missed that but at 11.50 it’s just past her shoulders and sparse looking and then 11.20 it’s waist length, luscious thick and that beautiful milky blonde on the ends is pretty much all hair extensions.
If I could go to any salon in the entire world it would be this one
Sis needs to decide what hair color she’s going to be. I feel like she always is changing it up.
lolol. as a cosmo student let me tell u. if you have someone in your family that does hair or if you do hair yourself you’re ALWAYS gonna change bc it’s at your disposal and it’s honestly awful lmao
okay, whats wrong with that, judy?
And why do you care taylor
Such great color correction!!!! Very nice neutral blonde !
So I’m wondering why you mixed both color removers at the same time and then did one whole side then moved on to the other - leaving the scruples developer to decrease. Do you think doing one at a time would have made the scruples work better?
She looks stunning both as a blonde and brunette
yo she has a looooot of breakage.
I was just thinking this, her poor hair. I'm all about pushing the hair a bit more than you should *sometimes* but I'd just hate myself if I left my clients leave with heaps of breakage every time.
It’s my sister, she knew the risk and asked for this!
Client consultation is key 😊

Hi Jessi! I absolutely love your darker hair!!
She’s beautiful with dark or light hair 😍 you did an amazing job transitioning her!!
Why are the comments all hate? Her sister knew the risk. It’s crazy she still has hair. Think positive
Beautiful as always jessi!
You did a great job! Looks amazing 🔥
dude your hair is going to fall out. she JUST went dark. omg...
Her hair looks like its been through a ton of everything. Im surprised she still has hair. I would be afraid to process her hair with a 5 volume. You are brave honey to do attempt this on her hair. Snaps
Great job Jessi!
Wau! You sister is beautiful with dark and blond hair❤
How did you archive your brown colour? I love it please let me know as i remove my black dye and im left with orange hair😐
Hope people in the comments realize how hard this is to attain! Great work!
That was the one thing I hated about being blonde and having brown hair.. the awful grey/blonde toned regrowth 🤢😂 it looks so much better level 6+
It rocked!
nice video! I thought the joico product was meant only for semi or direct dyes.
What color is in your hair? I love it.
I didn't know you could use color eraser to lift out permanent dye.
Dante Velasquez she said in the video it was a demi permanent :) x

Lee Culver because people comment rude things, not constitutive criticism haha. I don’t block for not agreeing with me, only if it’s unnecessary
I agree lee

I have a black back to grey color correction. What product would you recommend for that?
You look how the Olsen sisters are SUPPOSED to look 😂❤️
Ive always used and loved joico it is hella drying tho (the remover)
I hear that Charlie puth around 11:40 in the background lmao HOW LONG HAS THIS BEEN GOING ONNNNNN
Beautiful work LOVE THIS HAIR
I love how the dude is on the bottom moving her chair, thanks for sharing.

God deliver me from damaged thinned our hair like that
hi Jessi question what folis do u use and the name of them I like them I am looking for new ones :)
She uses framar foils
Rose oh ok thanks you
In between the foils at 8:34 what were u putting on the hair ?
By the i love and learn from ur vids so much 🥰
I thought color eraser was for direct dye
No Olaplex? Nice result
You are so inspiring💗
Isn’t this just bleach? What about the prevana colour remover
Wow! 💜
Was the dark permanent dye?
I think she said it wasn’t permanent
Her eyes are so much bluer with the darker hair
So beautiful
Wow very impressive awesome
WHAAA! Looks soo beautiful 😍🤩❤. Damn one shot! I've been trying to go blond for almost a year now! Almost there.. lol
I want you as my colorist, where can I book an appointment?
How much would you charge for something like that
i hate color removers.
the day after the hair gets dark again.
what is the name of the Song?
I love your channel and i cannot wait for you to have baby boy gish!!
Oh, that poor girl's hair😖 how'd it get that color in beginning? And it's so dry and damaged, definitely needs to lay off the color AND extensions 😕

Impressive as always
Gorgeous 🙌✨✨✨✨❤️
Awesome!!!
Beautiful
Amazing
Her hair was really damaged before. It was not from the remover. How do girls let their hair get that bad. I would never put my hair through that.
Her hair is so thin you can see trough her scalp
Is it just me?!? 🤔You actually have a high pitch voice as a blonde and a low raspy voice as a brunette 😍😂😂
Karen B i was pregnant and it changed my voice 😂😂
