2 questions: a) Can I connect this router to a wall plug instead of using the battery? b) Can I connect the router via USB-C to my laptop PC and use the PC as a power supply instead of the battery and wall plug? Thanks in advance!
I would like to advise everyone who is considering buying this router that there is no such thing as 10 USD/Unli Data. The screenshot shown is from a demo account, and using it to attract people is simply deceptive. The original author can only say that they may adjust the price, but in reality, they haven't been using it themselves because they cannot answer people's questions. However, the actual router itself is indeed good, but its backend settings are too simplistic and even custom DNS cannot be configured. Considering this price, there are many better routers available on the market (such as Netgear). Once again, this router itself is of decent value, but expecting to have unlimited data for 10 USD is simply impossible.
Hi there, what would you consider instead of the average at around the same price? I have seen the ZTE MU5120 which seems to be really good by was also interested to have eSIM capabilities no not to have to change the SIM card. Thank you
First device I received crashed (Android software error) and was replaced. First travel I wanted to buy a data plan but my Mastercard debitcard was not accepted and no other payment option (Paypal or Maestro) was provided. This makes the whole investment in Simo MiFi worthless. Big disappointment!
If you live in the US, the global plan is $99/mo and you’re throttled after 20GB. Cellular providers are allowed to completely shaft consumers in the US-particularly if you want data only. The Acer is only available re-badged as the Solis 5G hotspot for $399 USD. Despite the price gouging, I still might have considered it if it had external antenna inputs.
$10 is the maximum fee and there’s no contract so you just pay per month. I couldn’t really believe it myself, it’s a steal. Only issue is the device itself is a little pricey
@@MattRobb You maybe make good videos but there is no such thing as 10 USD/Unli Data. per month. If only we could buy a device that is not locked to an eSim provider brand. How much battery time you would say has the M3?
I found some links to buy it dude. Here - store.acer.com/en-gb/acer-wi-fi-5g-mobile-hotspot-enduro-connect-m3 and www.carrefour.fr/p/router-acer-connect-enduro-m3-5g-mobile-wi-fi-4711121167713?s=2713
@@xt7fi I think it takes about the same for me as well, maybe longer, 4-5 hours if I use some Wi-Fi at the same time. I am not in a great 5G signal area, to be noted.
Interesting, I’m based in Poland and looks like they have ramped up the pricing as the daily plan cost 9 usd. And regarding the monthly unlimited it says that after 20 gb’s the speed will go down.
@@antonizieba yeah apparently that's how it works on monthly. it says under the 'fair use' section. however, if you buy by day, from my understanding, it's unlimited top speed
It’s capable of fast enough speeds but it depends on the area and signal honestly. It supports a SIM card so you could find the cheapest plan with best coverage in your area and put it into this device

i think its designed to fit in your back pocket.
@@michaelbrownlee9497 Perhaps so, but antenna inputs wouldn't materially affect the size. The antennae would, but you wouldn't have to attach them.
You can't acces messages in your simcard that is inserted there unlike other pocket wifi.
Wicked stuff man. ❤️ Have a great trip.
Thanks bro
Is it only compatible simo?

I’ve been paying $10 a month I even showed the plan I currently have near the end of the video. No clue how mine is so cheap.
The website or the manual doesnt mention usb C tethering. How were you able to get it to work?
Where can you buy it? Link to the website doesn't show a price? or where and how to buy it?
I know what you mean Dave I don’t see the option. I’ll email them and ask.

is this good for live streaming in public?
I would say so yes but the fees have gone up since I made this.
Hello there. Can you kindly advise how much did it take for you to fully charge your M3? Mine is taking quite a while.
My modem takes about 3.5 hours to charge. What is the maximum internet speed you managed to get?

Those prices are now gone, and it's increased a lot. Alt least from where I'm at (Norway)
Yes I noticed a big price increase as well
yahoo-buddy~what a well . I'll be back-🔥
Is the unlimited data plan not throttling after certain usage?
No not from my testing, when I’m down south I can actually get 200mbs sometimes, just depends on your local carrier signal

Hello can check how much is the unlimited data plan for europe ?
They seem to have put it up a lot recently and now it’s saying $90 for unlimited worldwide for me
15mbs isn't fast 🙄
Other then that it looks really cool
is this a commercial ad? 20% 1 ⭐️ ratings on Amazon saying a lot.
No it’s not an ad I think the service got worse and more expensive since I reviewed it. I noticed the prices went crazy expensive
This might be a dumbass question but can it be decent for gaming.
